Did the morning mangrove kayaking. Lucked out with a very small group. Our tour guide, Daniel, was amazing. Really cool guy with lots of knowledge and enthusiasm. One of the best kayaking trips I've ever been on. I really enjoyed it. Saw tons of wildlife, including a small nurse shark hanging out below my kayak. Very cool. Daniel is so great that he takes pics and then emails them to you. Daniel, I can't thank you enough. Thanks for the stellar time!

Kayaks were in good condition and everyone was given a bottle of water. Mixture of travelling along open channels and through mangrove tunnels. We were in a group of 7 plus the guide. Good to travel through the mangrove and understand more about the different types of mangrove. Not much wildlife seen in the mangrove but that wasn't the main attraction when we booked the trip. My daughter found the final part back to the beach tiring (against the wind and current) but the guide stayed back with me to ensure she was ok. The guide took some photos during the morning and were emailed to us for free by the end of the day.

We spent the day kayaking in the Florida Keys. After much research we decided on Keys Kayak. The first half of the day, we explored the bay side following the map Vince provided. Words cannot describe how beautiful it was. We wandered through mangrove tunnels where you had to pull yourself through tight spots. We help jellyfish, caught fish, saw a shark.

The second half of he day, we did the ocean side and went to Indian Key. There we wandered the island, snorkeled off the rocky ledge and just had a blast. This is one place that is a must do!!

Vince was so helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. He was a real gem.

We took our whole family kayaking through the mangroves on Marathon Key. This was a perfect three hour trip leaving from the beautifully manicured Sombrero Beach, traveling along the waterways and then through the mangrove canals. The weather was perfect, no insects, cool breeze, and nature at its finest. A young college student performing his internship for Outdoor Leadership for a northern university led the way and described the flora and fauna of this ecosystem. He took photographs and emailed them to us after the trip.

We saw schools of colorful fish, crabs, sea stars, jellyfish, sea cucumbers, sponge gardens, dense mangrove islands, and an abundant amount of birds. Kayaking in the mangroves is a mild because there is no current. The water we traveled was for the most part quite shallow.

This company was great, but I hate anything that flies (bugs in general), stings, or crawls above your head as you kayak. If you are afraid of crap spiders don't go into the mangroves. My husband loved it, but I did not. The rental equipment was great, and I can't complain about that.
