My wife and I booked a charter trip with Capt.Ariel and his first mate Reed. The trip was fantastic . We caught snapper and dolphin. Their passion for the sport was evident shortly after we left the dock. Both Ariel and Reed worked hard to make our trip most enjoyable. When we are back in the Keys we will definitely call Ariel to book another trip.

We fished a 3/4 day charter (6 hours) with our family of 6 (2 adults, 4 kids ages 5-10). Captain Ariel and his First Mate Reed were both awesome. We requested an active day of fun fishing for the kids. Captain Ariel recommended reef and wreck fishing. We caught 20+ yellowtail snapper, 10+ vermillion snapper, gag grouper, mutton snapper and jacks. We ended the day with shark fishing near the bridge - 3 black nose and 1 black tip shark - in under an hour. What a way to top off a perfect day of fishing. Captain Ariel and Reed were great with teaching the kids - but also allowed Mom and Dad (seasoned fishermen) to participate as much or as little as we wanted. The boat was clean and comfortable for everyone. Captain Ariel topped off the day by filleting all the fish and then showing the kids how to hand feed the local tarpon swarming around the dock. We all had a great time. We will be back. We will charter with Captain Ariel again! Thanks Ariel & Reed!

We brought our own boat to the Key's and were striking out. We made a decision to hire Capt Ariel to show us how it's done. He didn't disappoint. We ended up with 18 keeper mahi only one of the was under 10-15lbs. We kept his mate Reed busy the whole trip. Top notch crew!

Captain Ariel and his assistant Reed were absolutely fantastic on our latest trip. This is our 2nd time with Captain Ariel and it’s always a thrill from start to finish. We feel as if we are on a hunt during our trips and never come home empty handed. Both gentlemen were awesome with our 10 year old son. They were teaching him about technique, the equipment, waters and most importantly they were encouraging to him at all times. Our son took the first Mahi Mahi rod while the rest of us were trying to catch one and all the while he felt completely confident because Captain Ariel and Reed told him he could do it.

Our fish are always cleaned and packed up for us immediately after we get back to the dock. This trip Captain Ariel even delivered them to a local shop for us to be shipped home because our travel schedule didn’t allow time for it.

Captain Ariel is incredibly nice, very honest and is a tremendously hard worker. He will not disappoint and you’ll be “hooked” on Big Game Sportfishing the second you meet him.
We would recommend Big Game Sportfishing to anyone who wants a thrilling day in Marathon with or without previous deep sea fishing experience. We’ve been with many other guides and there isn’t a one that comes close to Captain Ariel. He is the best! Good luck and have fun.

Captain Ariel was great to fish with, he was recommended to us by another local captain. Spent a half day with him and caught a cooler full of snapper and a half dozen nice grouper, while on our family vacation over Thanksgiving week. Ariel and Reed are top notch, they keep a clean boat and both are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Captain Ariel and Big Game Sportfishing.
