This small, quiet RV park is conveniently located about half-way between Key Largo and Key West. The road and sites within the park are gravel and the waterfront and premium sites will easily accommodate a 45’ motorcoach and tow. During our two-week stay, there were no sites available in those categories, so we had a Standard Plus site (#27) with a picnic table. We fit, although we completely filled the site front to back. After checking into the resort, we were escorted to our site, and then help was provided as we backed in, a courtesy we very much appreciated. As this park sits right on the Gulf side of Florida, there is a dock where guests can conveniently launch kayaks or dock their large boats, after launching them at a public boat launch a few miles down the road. Other resort amenities include a saltwater pool, a very nice sitting area by the water, and laundry facilities. While staying at the park, we thoroughly explored the area: Key West, Coco Plum Beach, and Curry Hammock State Park, plus kayaking in both the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. One delightful experience was the visit by a manatee which swam into the park basin and stayed for several days. So amazing!More
