“Great place on the Atlantic Ocean”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 18, 2013

Stayed here for a quick getaway to the keys. Quiet, clean facility right on the small marina. Sit on the marina pier and watch the marine life right in front of you. Launch your own boat or book the onsite fishing charter. Onsite swimming pool. Highly recommended.

Wonderful stay at the Seascape Motel & Marina. The property is beautiful and serene, and the staff is very friendly. We greatly enjoyed starting our day by the dock with a cup of joe! Location is excellent - right off Rt. 1. Would definitely recommend!!

Stayed at seascape for 2 nights. Great location by the ocean. Sea side pool and very nice rooms. Sofie, who managed the place ,was very friendly and helpful. No better place to sit with a book and a beer away from the crowd and look at the amazingly blue Atlantic ocean. All the restaurants in town, kayaking and snorkeling places are only a few minutes away.

Stayed here a few weeks ago and loved it! The location is wonderful and Seascape is just the kind of place I wanted to stay at while in the keys. Sofia and all the staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Loved to sit on the dock and read in the morning and lay by the pool during the day. In the afternoon we took bike rides on the 7-mile bridge watching the sunset. Rooms are nice and comfortable and it's so nice and quiet, very relaxing. Kayaking in the back bay is a must! I can't wait to go back again!

Stayed here for one night and it was a little disappointing. The motel is in the process of renovating its rooms. The room itself was pleasantly decorated, however the lamp next to the bed had no bulb, so we were restricted to one dim light in the corner of the room. We couldn't also turn off the fan. The room is equipped with a fridge and microwave but no cutlery is provided. There was no coffee facilities in the room, they were available in the reception area but at 9am there was no hot water. On a plus it is nicely located next to the water, and has a good sized pool. This could be a great place but more attention to detail needs to be applied!

We stumbled on this spot during a tourist lull and were treated like long lost friends by Sofia. It's an old, old place (1952) but our room was spotless and fully functional and comfortable. The location could not be better - ultra quiet, right on the ocean, spacious grounds, great fishing right from the dock, good wandering areas, just perfect for us. The new owners seem to have great plans and lots of ambition. Sofia is a joy. We'd stay again anytime - good destination as it's only an hour or less to Key West but a century away from the hubbub and craziness.

Great "Old Florida" feel. Due to the off- season we had the place to ourselves the first 2 nights. Was like having our own private home. Highly recommend . Thank you, we look forward to staying with you in the future. Clean, comfortable, great locale! small fridge, microwave was all we needed. We had room # 2, comfortable king bed and front porch.

Tips for other travellers local restaurants and business:
Burdines (burgers),
La Nina for cuban coffee!
Lazy Days for sunset dinners,( huge portions/ share)
7 mile bridge at sunset or walk to Pigeon Key,
Tildens dive center, Sombrero Reef
Looe key with Innerspace Dive BPK
No-Name cafe for lunch BPK (pizza)

Room Tip: room 2: king bed, comfortable, room is on end of building, so no one is above. Quiet!
