We came in at the last minute and the staff was so accommodating! Love everything about it. Games for the kids and fun for the adults, something for everyone:-)

Traveled to Islamorada for one night and stayed at Pelican Cove. Check-in process was relatively easy. Parking was free and convenient. Sadly my room on the corner of the hotel and the wind at night (not a storm) was incredibly loud, making sleep quite d difficult. The air conditioner was also very loud. The free continental breakfast was a plus; however, it stormed the night before and most of the tables and chairs were wet outside. There were two tables and only a few chairs inside making it difficult for guests to come in and find a place to sit. Eventually, when we suggested it, the hotel staff went out and cleaned off another table and chairs and brought them inside. Upon checkout, we shared our experience with the hotel staff and they offered to refund our resort fees for both rooms. Decent hotel, staff were pleasant.

This was our 3rd stay here in as many years and it was wonderful as always! The staff is great and so are the activities. They have gotten some new outdoor furniture and the new landscaping is beautiful. It's hard to tell what was damaged during Hurricane Irma. My one and only complaint would be that they played country music from 10:30 am until 11:00 pm so if you wanted to hang out on the beach,by the pool or at the bar, you better like country! I asked the bartender if he could put on something different and he said "that's what they make us play". Too bad they couldn't mix it up more with rock, pop, Caribbean, etc. Something for everyone I say is better than just one genre. I hope they reconsider their music choices in time for our next stay because even our balcony would have been more enjoyable with better music than the same 30 or so country tunes over and over and over......

Staying at the Pelican Cove Resort is always a wonderful time. It's right on the ocean and is near everything. Has a cabana bar by the pool that serves food and, of course, drinks. They provide lounge chairs and towels. The rooms are a good size and very clean. Has a fridge and microwave in it as well. There are many ocean front/view rooms, and suites are available. A very nice place to stay.
