We dined last night in the main dining room at S.A.L.T.. It was a great experience from the beginning to the end.. We were greeted by Ben and while waiting for our group to arrive had innovative drinks and hard to find beers from Sean at the bar. The interior is clean and modern with no remnants of the former restaurant that was in the same location. Our waiter, Tony, had great wine recommendations and the service was attentive without being overbearing. Ben came by and upon request, gave some food recommendations. We went with all of the items mentioned by both Ben and Tony and are glad we did. Everyone at the table tried different appetizers and meals and we got to taste a large amount of the menu items. The owners Tom and George both came by the table and told us about some of the new creations for the S.A.L.T. menu. We had oysters, mussels, bone marrow, foie gras empanadas, steak, tuna, scallops, pork chops and much more. The food and drinks were excellent and a new level of cuisine for the Keys. While not inexpensive, considering the amount and quality of the drinks and food we enjoyed, we found the price to be very affordable. Can't wait to go back!
