“Pretty Walk”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 28, 2011

We went to Anne's Beach and stayed there for about an hour. The kite surfers were interesting to watch and we had a nice walk in a beautiful setting. The water was chilly (well, it is at the end of November and not the beach's fault). I did not expect a traditional beach but it was pretty crowded and each nook and cranny seemed to be occupied. I guess during busy times it would be best to get there early to find your own little personal beach space. I did very much enjoy the walk and the view.

“One of the only beaches in the Keys”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 28, 2011

You would think the Keys would be full of beaches but that is not the case. There are a few here and there but this one is easy to find and pleasant to visit. Also great bike paths that are not as dangerous as in other parts of the Keys.

“Enjoyable afternoon watching the kiteboarders”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2011

This is not the typical Gulf or Atlantic coast Florida beach...not a very wide beach, but enjoyable all the same. We enjoyed watching the kiteboarders and the sea birds. We originally stopped at the 'main' entrance (where the restrooms are)...parking was horrendous and the beach didn't look that good. We moved down to the area right across from the parking area closer to the bridge. The beach was uncrowded and clean. We found a look nook close to the mangroves, sat back, relaxed and enjoyed the afternoon. What a nice break!

“Do not bother...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 1, 2011

The water was littered with garbage and it was stagnant were we were. Maybe a different time of year it would be better, but not when we were.

“Only 'Swimming Beach' in Northern Keys”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2011

Unless you stay at a resort or condo that has a 'Swimming Beach' you are out of luck. The other beaches in Key Largo are not for swimming with young kids, they are rocky and dangerous to walk in. Those beaches are for snorkaling.

This is the best of the 'Swimming Beach' in the norther keys from mile marker 60 - 110

It is SMALL, only 75 ft of beach front to sit in. Bring a chair as the jumping bugs are all over the place
