It's a nice cheap road stop that really gets you in the Keys State of Mind! In response to people saying it's expensive...you pay $5 for a small bucket of bait (maybe 5-7 fish)...if you go to SeaWorld they charge you $5 for 2 capelin so I find it VERY REASONABLE! It is an adventure feeding these GIANT silver fish. A great photo op. In response to people complaining about pelicans-->Welcome to FL you should be more scared of the birds rather than sharks they are very aggressive. As long as your cautious of them they shouldn't be a problem. And in response to the "bird beater" I volunteer for a seabird sanctuary in Tampa Bay area and I didn't not find the dockhands to be abusive at all, a net is the safest way to control a pelican.
The flea market is very cute with lots of good Keys finds. One artist makes frames out of old crab traps and they are so beautiful! The Hungry Tarpon restaurant didn't look like anything special to me, so I didn't go there. But I would grab a Corona and take at least an hour to stroll around Robbie's freely it is a great experience!
