“A local favorite”

We were recommended this spot by several locals and it did not disappoint. Hogfish special was excellent and the service was too. Nice spot on the water with outside seating and bar available. Plan on spending about $100 a couple average.

“Exactly what we were looking for!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2014

When my friend from high school (now a Keys local) told us to be sure and stop at mile marker 88, we listened. We spent the entire day here! Noah, the bartender, hooked us up with beach chairs for 15$, (reasonable daily rate) and told us he'd bring anything we ordered down to the beach for us. We paddle boarded for an hour (rented from a gal on site) and did some off-shore snorkeling (brought our own gear). Once back in, we ordered lunch & drinks. My husband got a Fat Tire and Cheeseburger in Paradise. He says the burger and fries both we're top knotch. I have celiac disease, and when I a started asking Noah questions about gluten he whipped out a gluten free menu. I was so excited to see the hot crab dip listed there! I had that with corn chips (amazing!) and the best piña colada in my life. Later we shared the key lime baked Alaska - divine! We were here for 4 or 5 hours. Great day in paradise!

“Great atmosphere”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2014

We stopped in here for dinner one night ate outside which we had a nice breeze. The atmosphere is great, relaxed, live music. Food was a little overpriced cost was over $100.00 for 2 people eating on plastic lawn furniture. We would go again for the atmosphere there but would probably eat somewhere else first.

“Most memorable day of my life”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2014

I recently got married at Marker 88 and couldn't imagine having a better experience anywhere else. On one of the only sandy beaches you can find in the keys, I walked to my husband under palm trees, facing the sunset on the bay which was peeking through numerous lightning storms over the many small mangrove islands scattered in the gulf. This was the view for all of the diners at marker 88. The entire restaurant celebrated with us as we walked off of the beach and danced to fabulous music provided by the talented musician Lee Sharp who plays at the restaurant occasionally. The bar provided our guests with excellent key lime mojiots and pina coladas amoung other fabulous cocktails while we took breathtaking photos. All of our guests complimented the food. Expertly cooked filets paired with an equally professionally made bernaise, horseradish encrusted mahi mahi (so flavorful), and south beach chicken over pasta, not a noodle of which was left on a plate and I'm sure it wasn't due to the fact they were starved because we had incredible appetizers made from the general manager herself and hand passed around by our servers. As for the servers, they never let a glass of wine go under 1/4 of the way full and were entirely too helpful ensuring the toasts, food, cake, and such went off with out a hitch, or in this case with a perfect hitch. Thank you Becca and Adrian for making our night extra special. The price of our priceless night was surprisingly affordable. We will definitely recommend to everyone who wants a great meal paired with an awesome view and atmosphere to go and enjoy marker 88.
