“Terrible service, way overpriced and undersized stone crabs and dated resturant.”
Reviewed February 16, 2013

Went there last night expecting a great meal. It was raining so we had to eat inside in a room with painted concrete walls resembling a poorly finished basement. Service was terrible forcing us to have to make repeated requests just to get water and a glass of wine. We ordered both an appetizer and entree sized order of the stone crabs which were specials. They came out room temperature were so small that I question their legality and turned out to cost close to 90 dollars for about 7 SMALL claws. Do yourself a favor when you come up to mileage marker 88... Keep driving!

“Work on your service!”
Reviewed February 14, 2013 via mobile

Really????? If you have an extensive wine menu with $200-$300 bottles of wine, then your service should be impeccable! We ate here twice, food is acceptable, very nice beachfront setting, laid back atmosphere, mellow acoustic guitar, romantic canopied tables - perfect right? OMG our service was horrible! We ordered $32 filet and the walnut encrusted Yellowtail special. Our waiter disappeared for 50 minutes! Please note: it was not busy at the time. We never got bread, which it is known for. A server brought our food and I had to beg him for another glass of wine - please? Waiter never came to check on our meal - we waited 50 minutes to see him again, & by then all I wanted was - "check please!" This is inconsistent, and with these prices - it shouldn't be.

“Don't pass up this restaurant while in Islamorada”
Reviewed February 8, 2013

Our meal was a few appetizers with drinks and dessert. All were very good. The setting is spectacular. You sit out on the beach and watch the sun set, have drinks and dinner. The waitress couldn't have been more friendly and instructive. Our most memorable meal on vacation.

“The best view and yummy food”
Reviewed February 8, 2013

This was our first stop on our first visit to the Keys. It's just off to the side of the road - a tiki bar with nice waterfront seating. A great way to start a tropical vacation. It was actually the best atmosphere of any place we went on this trip to Key Largo and Islamorada. The drinks were delicious - Key Lime martini and bloody mary. The shrimp cocktail and our mahi sandwiches were great. Service was excellent. We'll be back here for sure! We only live 2 hours away and we're actually considering a road trip just to have lunch there soon.

“Sweet suprise”
Reviewed February 6, 2013 via mobile

Who would guess this lives just off the highway. Tucked away here is a very civil, very nice spot. Unhurried to eat, well served, with great food, this was a nice suprise. A nice adult clientele enjoyed the music and food here, and you will sit here in this place and wonder why there is not a million people here. Glad there wasn't, but this could be the best sunset Mel I have had here. Prices fair, food well prepared. Don't tell too many people.
