We had been on ten deep-sea fishing trips here in the Keys and never caught a sailfish. Geoffrey promised us a sailfish the day before we went out for a full day of fishing aboard the Sweetwater and he delivered with not one, but FIVE sailfish!!! We also caught a King Mackerel, some yellow tail snapper, and a grouper. Captain Geoffrey and his first mates have been fishing in the keys their whole lives and it shows when they get out on the water. They communicated and worked together very well. They're awesome guys and great to be around all day.
I highly recommend the Sweetwater and its crew to anyone looking to fish in the Keys.

Captain Geoffrey was recommended to us by our hotel. We reserved an afternoon half day trip for the 4 of us - 2 adults, 2 kids. The location is perfect - the kids loved the aquarium and the marina at World Wide Sportsman. Geoffrey let the kids feed the tarpon as we got ready to go. The boat is beautiful and the tackle is top notch. He took time to show us how to catch bait and rig the rods. As soon as we anchored on the reef fish were all around the boat. For the next 3 hours we caught yellow tails, mangrove snapper, barracudas, sharks and grouper. We had a blast and learned a ton - cant wait to go again with him.

With Geoffrey as a young, smart, safe, and talented fisherman and Captain, you are bound to get fish in the boat or bring home dinner!! Definitely a charter and fishing experience of a life time upon the beautiful Sweetwater. Highly recommend getting out on the water with him, besides, "Ladies" the boat is pink.

Took a 3/4 day charter with 2 other friends on 11/8/13 with Captain G
We had 3 Mahi in the boat within first 15 minutes after catching some fresh bait around the Lighthouse
Boat and equipment are top notch, he doesn't use anything old, rusty, or outdated
He even introduced us to Kite fishing (basically extended outriggers)
Captain G is hard working, polite, and enjoyable to spend the day with
Highly recommend this charter out of Islamorda

October 2013. My brother and I hit the marinas on Islamorada looking for a share fishing charter. We stumble across Captain Geoffrey Campbell and his fishing machine - SWEETWATER. Best find ever! The captain and his mate Charlie are born and raised on Islamorada. Both sons of lifelong captains on that key. They know that fishery and those waters maybe better than anyone. So we book a share trip. Who shows up? TRED BARTA ! Yeah that Tred Barta. Wow, this is gonna be good. Long story short we caught a 60lb sailfish. A 200lb Silky shark. A 20lb dolphin. And landed 15 blackfin tuna. What a day. Back at the hotel bar other anglers were lucky to pick up a fish or two that day. It MATTERS who you fish with. Next year a three day package with Captain Geoffrey. Wanna catch fish? Book SWEETWATER CHARTERS.
