“Paradise and peace - pay for what you get”

My pregnant wife and I have just finished our babymoon at Casa Morada and we'll go back again. It is a sanctuary of style and peace and serviced by people you'd like to invite to your wedding.

Yes it is not a motel priced location but don't be put off. Quality wins out and 3-4 days is so relaxing its like 2 weeks. Make a point to spend one evening at the hotel bar overlooking the ocean and order in some food. You'll have most of the world and the most wonderful views to yourselves. We spent most of the vacation at the Casa because it was that special.

Enjoy and come out more relaxed than you could imagine.

We spent four wonderful days at this fabulous little haven after a week in Miami. Beautifully designed in a chic contemporary and uncluttered style and well laid out in a very picturesque location, it offered the perfect chill-out and relax ambiance with plenty of thoughtful and attractive little touches to make guests feel supremely comfortable. Staff were incredibly warm and helpful, nothing was too much and everything was done with a welcoming smile. There's a general 'beach shack' (in the smartest possible way!) feeling to the place. Technically, it may not have a beach but you'd be hard-pressed to notice, since the entire garden and pool area is sanded with fine white sand, culminating in a short ladder leading directly into the sea. And, of course, there is also the fabulous heated pool, served by the pool bar which also offers delicious snacks until 7pm.
Our suite, bedroom and sitting room, was very attractive and comfortable with a very fine shower room ensuite (great Malin and Goetz products too!) and a roomy terrace area with loungers to hang out on. There was a good sized TV and a well stocked Mini Bar.
Breakfast was perfect for us: fruit, cereal, yoghurt and coffee, although I expect that many men in particular would like more variety and maybe something hot, apart from the hard boiled eggs. The breakfast area is open to the elements with a beautiful view out to sea but on colder mornings this means you might prefer to take your breakfast back to your suite or splash out on room service.
Casually meandering around Islamorada is fun and the Casa Morada staff recommended some excellent and fun restaurants within walking distance which we very much enjoyed.
Back in cold London, we are still dreaming of this perfect little hideaway in the sunshine, the ideal antidote to the buzz of Miami and London.

Words simply cannot describe how amazingly wonderful casa morada is... hands down, the best hotel in all of the florida keys (and most of florida)! It's boutique-style decor, AMAZING staff and secluded, relaxing atmosphere makes casa one of my favorite places to go in the keys... and possibly the best kept secret in islamorada. I highly recommended for all occasions... one thousand percent!

I've never been closer to paradise. So chilled, quirky and tranquil. 5 stars without a doubt. You'll feel in the middle of nowhere, yet close to local amenities. The owner or manager we met was soo laid back, she was almost horizontal. She set the tone for the resort.

We stayed at the Casa Morada in February, 2013 and would definitely come back. The smaller size is a plus in that you are not competing with people for space and the service is personal. Also the bay side with the sail boats and the calm is an excellent change of pace. The food is also excellent...when we arrived and needed a late lunch they cooked up some great hot sandwiches to go with the margaritas and they provide complimentary snacks in your room and the breakfast was A+.

This was our first visit to the Keys...we highly recommend this property...and we are very picky about were we stay....my wife also enjoyed the yoga class in the morning.

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Morada. The property is beautiful and the staff can't do enough for you. Their dinner recommendations were superb. This is a wonderful boutique property where privacy is perfected! We loved the EcoTour with Captain Bill that the hotel arranged. The breakfast was fresh and the lunch was delicious!

Room Tip: Outside upstairs rooms are the best.

We had a fabulous stay! Everyone here is super friendly and helpful, and getting tips here about things to do and places to eat felt like getting good advice from a local friend. The rooms are simple and chic; the property feels private and hip but casual. Casa Morada is an older property, and the owners have done a beautiful job updating it into a stylish, fun and comfortable getaway!
