A lot of places to shop and a lot of local places and gifts. Little coffee shop that has good things.

Many. Different shops. We found this very small store with great shoes. The best part was Patricia the sales lady! She no nonsense lady.

Everything that needs to be said about the shops is present in other reviews, but no one mentions eats. We couldn't resist the offering of "Maine lobster rolls. They were pretty darn good based on our experience in Maine at Red's Eats and others. A generous portion of tender lobster in a toasted roll. It might take a few minutes, because she toasts the thick roll very carefully. She is from Maine so tops the lobster with lumps of warm butter, but if you are from Mass. or Canada fear not she does offer mayo. Oh, and 11 bucks makes it at least 5 stars.

Used to live down in the Keys.....this place has been there FOREVER......and still is a good funky!
They have the shops in the back with local artistry.....and lots of tourist crap..if you gotta have it.
The giant Florida lobster out front is too much.....but makes it easy to find. Nice to stop in if you're there.

Why not stop and look at the local art work and goods. It depends on your taste, I loved the pottery created on site. I envy those that can create some beautiful pieces from their own hands. Why not take a picture of the the huge lobster outside? Chat with the shop owners and employees who live and work in the keys. It is great to hear the many stories of the diverse people that for one reason or another the Keys have called them to work and live there. Plus they have a restroom and a snack on your way to your destination.
