The topsider is the greatest bang for the buck in the Keys. Newly renovated suites. Great Beach, Boat dock, pool, hot tub and fishing pier. The staff is great and can recommend things to do in the keys. We went fishing on the Dee Cee with Captain Chuck by recommendation and had a great trip.More

We have been visiting the Topsider for years and really love it there. This is our 1st year back after the hurricane in 2017. They re-did the kitchen and living room beautifully. The beach has nice new chairs, kayaks and nice long dock to gather at for sunsets.

Topsider is an older property but was refurbished after Hurricanee Irma in 2017. It has never been a 5 star property but that gives it some charm. There are individual, elevated units (20 in total) that include a kitchen, dining area, living rom, and 2 bedrooms. 1 bedroom has a Queen bed and the other bedroom has 2 twin beds. The units are much better insulated now and the a/c works much better. Most people that vacation there have been going for >20 years and it has a family-type atmosphere. The dock is long and is a gathering place at sunset. Unit 11 is right on the water and Unit 20 is directly next to the pool. Many grills are available. There is wifi but the signal strength isn't great. Overall, its a great place for families who want space and a good Islamorada location. Don't expect luxury, but embrace the family, laid back vibe.

Fishing, swimming, boating, tennis, relaxing. The hurricane repairs and upgrades are great. I've visited many times over 35 years... the place to enjoy the keys !!
Freshly remodel Cabins! Been going to this resort for 35 years, need to say more of how much our family loves this place? Now we are enjoying it with our Grand Kids, 3rd Generation. The Staff is Super Friendly and Helpfull! The ground keeper supervisor, Manny, is a staple of the resort and you won't believe how much you can count on him; the children love him, as he gives them fishing gear, helps them with setting up bikes and such.
The cabins are very nice with comfortable beds and great AC, WiFi, good kitchen. Two bedroom 2 bath and a sofa bed in the living room yielding ample accommodations for 6 adults.
Has a very nice peer, dockage for boat, boat ramp, kayaks, bicycles and a nice Beach! The waterfront is facing the bay and the waters are usually calm and very conductive to water sports, snorkeling, swimming and lounging.

Relaxing location & close to most everything. Fabulous for a couple of any age or the entire family. I highly recommend The Topsider Resort for your next vacation. A very laid back and tranquil environment.
