“Fresh Seafood and then some..........”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

Ate there twice , one evening with a group of 10 and lunch with 4. Outside in the evening until a huge rainstorm drove us under the large porch- the wait staff did a great job moving us and our tables very quickly. Try to conch Lazy Days style, hogfish, and other fresh seafood dishes. Lunch was much less than dinner as is the case with most restaurants, but still excellent. The staff at Cheeka Lodge recommended it and they have won several awards as the best overall restaurant in Islamorada.

“Absolutely awesome!”
Reviewed October 7, 2013

Lazy Days was recommended to us by the charter captain (Captain Larry Wren of First Choice charters in Islamorada) we fished with while visiting the keys. He let us know that the would prepare our catch for us and add the sides. We called ahead and the host was very polite and was accommodating. When we arrived we were seated on the beach with this magnificent ocean view. The atmosphere was perfect. Our server (Edwardo) was the consummate professional. He was patient in explaining the choices we had in having our fresh catch prepared (there were many, like grilled, blackened, Islamorada style, Lazy Days style). We handed over our fresh snapper and grouper fillets and put in our orders. We had it prepared 4 different ways - family style. After a short wait the tray came out and it was amazing. The Islamaroda style had shredded shrimp, scallops, scallions, mushrooms and mozzarella. It was over-the-top delicious. Can't say enough about this amazing restaurant. It is now in my all-time top 5.

“Yummy”
Reviewed October 6, 2013

We went based on the locals' recommendations & we weren't disappointed. Our waiter was fabulous because his service was friendly, informative & prompt. We never had to ask for a refill. He also took the time to tell us about some great things to see in the area. The view has a spectacular view of the ocean & a cute little beach area to walk around. I had the lobster Bimini dish which was a great value during lunch (dinner prices are much higher) and one of the most delicious lobster dishes I've ever had. We also loved the seafood bisque & conch appetizer. My husband said his fish sandwich was just ok so that's the only reason I didn't give an excellent rating. He did say the guava sauce on it really made the difference. I would recommend this restaurant to all Islamorada visitors & I will definitely go back next visit.

“Great food!”
Reviewed October 4, 2013 via mobile

Stopped at Lazy Days Restaurant on our last night in Islamorada for dinner. As soon as we walked up to be seated we were greeted with a friendly host and he made sure our wait for a table was pleasant. We waited no more then 5 minutes and was seated right on the beach. We were taken care of right away. The food came quickly and it was delicious! We highly recommend this restaurant. Next time we will go earlier to see the view.

“Great food - Great Happy Hour!”
Reviewed October 4, 2013

We were trilled to discover a great half price happy hour at the bar (with limited view) and great "munchies". We have been before for lunch and dinner for the great food and great views during previous trips and always look forward to coming back.
