This hotel is lovely. It has a large pool and a very friendly and helpful staff. It is a bit dated, but the landscaping and location are wonderful. There is a really nice gift shop located inside the property and the Outback Steak House is adjacent to the hotel and shares the poolside area. Numerous decks are located around the Outback steak house and it's so easy to order a drink (or two) and a snack or meal. Of course, the Hampton offers their On the House breakfast every morning, which is a great way to start the day. It takes about an hour and a half to get to get to Key West, sometimes less depending on the traffic. Every room in the hotel has a balcony. There is a lot of parking. It's a great place to lay back and relax!

Room Tip: They do have suites with a full kitchen.

This is a great hotel for the price. The room we got was very clean and had a nice hard bed that we liked. The pool area is very nice and the ocean was clean. The breakfast is very nice. This is not a place where you will have marble bathrooms and mint on your pillow, but it does provide good value for the money.

After a disaster in Marathon it was refreshing to find this Hampton Inn. From the start the hotel more than met our needs. Friendly staff, great pool and beach area, outstanding tiki hut/Outback bar restaurant were just a few of the well done areas of this hotel.

Little worried before leaving on vacation that not on Frommer's list. Knew we made good choice pulling into parking lot. Service desk (Tia and Nadia) and housekeepers/hotel staff were friendly from beginning to our leaving. From beach area to room view to Outback Tiki Hut/Restaurant to other guests, all were great.Everyone seemed to be happy to be at Hampton Inn & Suites. Very pleased to come "home" after busy day out to relax. Can see us returning with family members for another vacation.

Room Tip: Top floor with shoreline view was quiet as away from road.
