“Fun - very retro experience.”

Feels like it hasn't changed much in 50 years. Only a rope keeps you away from the animals. Very laid back, family-type atmosphere. Beautiful lush landscaping, but exhibits are a little dated. We had fun.

“Very Cool!”
Reviewed August 23, 2013 via mobile

Where to start; from the dolphins, to sea lions, to sharks and gators. This place has it all. The shows were informative and my whole family enjoyed the guided tour.

The 'beach' is more of a lagoon with BEAUTIFUL parrot fish that you can feed. And you can snorkel there as well. They even have $1 snorkel equipment available for rental as well.

If you're into the dolphin interaction, skip this one and head over to the dolphin research center. WAY less expensive and
more interactive if you ask me. For
Only $65 (plus admission) you can interact (on a platform) with the dolphins, AND they'll paint a shirt for you! Not to mention the mini water park.

“Great memories!!!!,”

We loved the "swim with the dolphins!" Old Florida charm, not commercial! Also, 4 hr snorkeling trip was great! The captain was Heidi, she was so informative, and made the trip so much fun! Honestly, I was born and raised in Florida, and have traveled all over, but this trip was the best!

“Happy we stopped”
Reviewed August 23, 2013 via mobile

$120 (with a coupon) was a little steep for a party of five but it was a fun afternoon! Staff was friendly and knowledgable. Dolphin and sea lion shows were great and the atmosphere was so intimate. Our kids LOVED it.

“Really fun and a great way to spend half the day!”
Reviewed August 20, 2013 via mobile

My husband and I enjoyed a really wonderful day at Theater is the sea. We started with the sea lion show then the bottomless boat ride were a dolphin paid us a visit. Then we did the nature walk to their little beach where we swam with the tropical fish. I really loved this part and we were ready with our swimsuits snorkle mask and towels. We bought a dollars worth of fish food and the tropical fish came right to us! There was no time limit so we could swim as long as we wanted. There are changing areas in the swimming area, so we should have also brought our change of clothes but we able to go to our car and change in the bathrooms. We had enough time to swim, change, eat lunch, and then get back onto the schedule. The dolphin show was really cute and the bird show was entertaining and informative. We got there about an hour after they opened and we were able to take our time and see everything. We were done by 4 and we both felt very satisfied with our day. I highly recommend this place for a fun day out. We don't have kids yet, but the kids we saw there seemed to be having a great time too.
