The general admission is good value for money. The dolphins are Atlantic Bottle-nosed dolphins - either rescued or born at the marine park. None of these dolphins are Pacific dolphins inhumanely harvested at Taiji in Japan. The large semi-natural lagoon is an old quarry filled with seawater and gives the animals plenty of room to swim freely.

This was our first time visiting here, and while we liked it, we definitely won't be going back. Parking is great and the entrance is lovely. The gift shop is large, but the entry fee is pretty steep. Of course, any programs (ie swim with dolphins, rays, or sea lions) is extra. The boat ride was not running the day we were there, don't know why. The nature walk is really just an explanation of mangrove forests and last about 10 minutes. That lets you off at an extremely small beach, and then there are parrot, dolphin, and sea lion shows. The shows themselves are pretty good. There is also an area with enclosures that house crocs, sharks, an owl, and a few other local animals. I feel like if the admission wasn't so high it would be great.

Theater of the Seas was great! We did the 4 hour snorkeling adventure and had a great time. Heidi, our captain, was informative, friendly and helpful (especially for a novice snorkeler). We also came back the next day and watched the dolphin, sea lion and parrot show (with a 20% discount because we did the snorkeling adventure). Trainers were informative and the animals were great! Lagoon area is small but very quiet and fairly private. Highly recommend!

We stopped in to see what they offered and enjoyed the shows. The guides/trainers are very friendly and the different shows were fun and informative. They offer a variety of programs if you want to get closer to the animals, if you want to buy them, otherwise the admittance fee is reasonable. It only takes a few hours to see all the shows and to walk the nature trail. A nice way to spend a morning.

The place shows its age in places but it is a place with heart. The people running the shows were fun and engaged. The animals were great. The beach is really nothing special but I would definitely recommend going to the shows and exploring the park.
