“Delicious!”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

The Lazy Gecko is a great place for those not looking to spend a whole lot of money but I would suggest that everyone try this place! They have delicious sandwiches for everyone. They also have a happy hour from 5-8. During this time they have sell a few appetizers for $5. The staff is also very nice.

“Shrimp po boy with a twist”
Reviewed July 12, 2013 via mobile

The bartender rocked, very attentive and gave great recommendations. I had the shrimp po boy, was excellent but not your typical po boy I am use to. It had way more flavor and huge shrimp! You will be stuffed if you eat this sandwich. I think it should be called a shrimp po boy Rachel (it had slaw on it and cheese). So goooood

“Would be just okay if it weren't a Red Sox bar.”
Reviewed July 11, 2013 via mobile

First time here we went in the early evening on a Tuesday. Service was just okay. Nothing wrong but nothing special. From the first song I thought I'd love the band and stay there all night but then the performers went into a round of oldies which lost my interest. The second night was a Thursday and the bar turned into a typical Duval scene. We didn't try the food so no comment there. Just to clarify, I have nothing bad to say but definitely did not get the same sense of friendliness and attention to detail as most of the other bars or restaurants we visited during our stay.

“Unexpected great food!”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

Went in here early on the day after the 4th because their menu had so many great selections. We sat at the bar and our bar tender Joy was great! She was always there with an ice cold beer and gave us a great recommendation for the Philly Cheese steak on a wrap. Who would have though you could get such great food at a duval street bar. It was great. My husband got a BLT which was great too. Nice crisp bacon and lots of tomatos. This was no small BLT it was great!!! We wish they had some day time entertainment cause we could have stayed here all day. Our bar tender told us there was a great duo playing at night so we went back around 8 and they were great lots of 80's I think I've seen the drummer before at Irish Kevin's. He was much better in this bar. It fit him more, less interaction with the crowd. A must stop while in Key West!

Little bar but great to visit. Food was excellant and reasonably priced. We received two for one cards at the airport for drinks. Decent variety of drinks to choose from. Went back a second time to hear the music which was very good.
