This is a great picture spot and a fun place to walk around.

Nice area with a trolly stops nearby so expect it to be crowded. The mile marker is a must selfie... read more

We drove from Melbourne to Key West on a whim. We were going to stop in Key Largo but made a split second decision to keep going. About 350 miles 1 way (and we drove back to Melbourne the same day - NOT RECOMMENDED)!! We followed US Route 1 all the way and it seemed like a shame not to get a photo at the end of the road. We stumbled upon the sign and nobody was around. Got a photo of the END sign and right across the street is the BEGIN sign. Why not?

It's quite obvious what to see here, but if you are in Key West it's must to visit - you can not see often in the US the really end or begin of a state road.

Nothing all the particularly special here. One of the few places you won't have to wait in line to do. I grew up on Route 1 so you'd think I would feel some significant importance but I didn't. It's the end of the road for this road. There is a store next to it that sells Mile 0 stuff but the lady seemed tired of tourists. My daughter needed to use the bathroom and she said they don't have one. Sigh! On an interesting note, the mile marker 0 sign is the most stolen sign in Key West.

It's a street sign. Cute, yes. But, to queu up for 30 minutes to take your picture next to it.....that's a bit much.
See it as you walk by, it's only a block off of Duval Street, but not worth more than the one extra block walk.

Just a pole and a point of the start of U.S. 1. The 2000 plus mile journey begins here and ends in Maine. Tourist attraction (yeah I been there). Lots more to see arount it.
