Nancy was one of my favorite people I met while in Keywest. She is very knowledgeable about the birds and has a passion and love for the environment. It's in a backyard and not very big but if Nancy comes out and talks to you or you want to see some beautiful parrots it's worth it.

Nancy and her parrots was recommended by someone who makes it a point to visit her every time they're in Key West. Nancy is full of information on her birds. Everyone should visit here

I admire this refuge for parrots - the owners have dedicated their lives to the care and cause. Don't expect to interact with or be allowed to hold the birds - this is more like a visit to your favorite aunt so that she may share stories about her pets.

Our family spent over an hour at this small sanctuary for exotic birds which have been abandoned by their owners or left homeless for some reason. We spent time talking to Nancy and learned a lot about the beautiful birds here. Peaches and Baby were definitely the stars of our visit. This is a small place so I don't think it would be the same with a big crowd. We numbered 5 and there were 3 others there and felt very comfortable. Don't expect a big garden, it is all about the birds. The ones who wanted to had a chance to hold Baby and Peaches, both lovely and very intelligent birds.
