I have always stayed at Santa Maria or H2O suites every time I go to Key West - cleanest hotels and friendly staff not to mention the gardens at each place are beautiful too. Beautiful place to go, I will never stay anywhere else in Key West.

Santa Maria Suites is in a great location, only one block from Duval Street and near the Southernmost point in the US marker.
This is a small intimate hotel built around a courtyard/beautiful pool. The two bedroom suites all open onto the courtyard/pool area so all have good views. The suites are top of the line with granite countertops, unique drawer style refrigerators and freezers, marble and tile bathrooms with waterfall showers.
Some suites are on one level and others have two levels-kitchen, living room and half bath on first level and two bedrooms each w full bath on the second.
There are no elevators so if stairs are an issue then request a ground floor suite.
I met Two families at the resort who have been coming here for over 6 straight years each. That is a testament that says it all-you will love this resort.
We are definitely going to return!

The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The room was great, a 2 story unit with Living room, full kitchen, powder room and deck on the first floor and 2 bedrooms with balconies and2 full baths on the second floor. Plenty of storage space. 2 pools with lush gardens. Nice amenities such as happy hour from 4-5:30 every day by the pool, also free smoothies. Turn down service at night with fresh muffins, water bottles and frozen dove bars in the freezer!

We had a wonderful time at Santa Maria Suites. The staff was excellent and the facility is very well-maintained. So many times the expectation after seeing something online is not met when you were actually there in person. This was not the case here because our expectations were exceeded.
