I can't really compare this B&B to anything because it was the first time I have stayed in a B&B. I can however say that it was clean, tidy and comfortable with a very helpful and informative owner who made sure we were all right. It was close to all entertainment, bars and restaurants in the lower Key West and had many cafe breakfast venues around it. Parking is not easy but it seems that is a common complaint around the area. We did enjoy our stay and would stay again.

Room Tip: Just book on line we had no problems.

My husband and I stayed in Key Largo for our honeymoon. We received a Jet Ski Tour from Barefoot Billy's as a gift and were just going to drive to Key West for the day. Well, my parents surprised us with a nights stay at the Caribbean House as a wedding gift. We LOVED it. It was small, clean and cozy, which is just what we needed as we were just there to explore Key West. The location alone is worth the money. This is close to everything. We planned doing our jet ski tour at noon and exploring Key West at night and driving back to Key Largo in the morning. We ended up staying in Key West until 8pm! It was a great time. We highly recommend this hotel!

Room Tip: This is not a stay a week with a family in kind of hotel. It was great for our overnight stay, and f...

At first I thought I would refrain from posting a review, so as to try to keep the Caribbean House a secret for my own selfish purposes and next trip to Key West. But that's just so wrong, on so many levels. We absolutely LOVED this place. Marie (Manager) is a delight from the very first "Hello" to the sad day we had to leave. She made us feel welcome from the very first moment and drew us a map and shared excellent advice regarding locations and activities we had not found in our pre-trip research. The morning coffee was the best I ever tasted. Our room was gorgeous, spotlessly clean, and so comfortable it was a joy to return to it after a day in "paradise". The Caribbean House was a PERFECT location for us to experience everything we were looking for in Key West. Marie we miss you and will be back as soon as we can. Bud & Diane

The Caribbean House in Key West is our place to stay when in town. The rooms are small but very clean and very adequate for our needs. Marie is the host and is most accommodating, They don't advertise in most Key West travel sites, but the price cannot be beat especially during high season. At the end of our stay Marie even made arrangements with Paradise Porters to pick up our luggage to store until the ferry to Fort Myers left late in the afternoon. We will be staying with Marie again in the future.

Good price, Good location, awesome hosts!! It is very pet friendly, has parking, is near the beach and near Duvall street (but far enough away to be peaceful too:). Marie is lovely, as are her pets. The rooms are basic, but clean and comfy. There is an outdoor seating area with a microwave, fridge and some basic amenities. I made my tea here daily and warmed up left overs for a snack. We will be staying here on our next trip to Key West !

Room Tip: First floor is easier access but the second floor has a wrap around balcony with interesting views o...

Upon arrival we were greeted by the lovely Marie and her four Yorkies and were treated like family. The rooms are small but are very clean, comfortable and cozy. We started each day with fantastic coffee ( fresh ground beans ) and were within walking distance of everything on our Key West " to do " list. The beach, Hemingway House, Mallory Square, Duval St., and the best restaurant, Blue Heaven, was across the street.Parking is free.I will be recommending this gem to all of our friends. One tip, be sure to open the gate with your room key before dropping it in the box or you will find yourself locked in upon early check out.
