Learned quite a bit on our tour. Really enjoyed the interactive learning tools and the aquariums! The film was outstanding and relaxing.

“Put this on your to-do list”
Reviewed May 9, 2014

I've been to Key West many times, but I had never been to the Eco-Discovery Center until April. It's well worth spending an hour or two hear and the movie was quite good. Best part is that it is free, something pretty unusual in pricey Key West.

“A place to discover”
Reviewed May 8, 2014

...The day we arrived in Key West, a festival was being held in the area near Ft. Zachary Taylor. While we were there, we noticed the Eco-discovery Center and returned to it a few days later. We walked to it although there is parking nearby. Admission to this recently constructed, air-conditioned building is free.
...As you enter, you are greeted by one of the friendly volunteers who orients you to the building and gives a little spiel about the Center activities. You can then roam through the building and view displays and you can watch a short beautiful theater video about eco activities. The center is small and not all the displays are well laid out but all are interesting.
...This is an excellent place to spend time with interactive exhibits and watch a spectacular 3-d video about the reefs in the Keys. I would imagine this is all especially well received on a hot sticky day as you sit in the air-conditioned building.
...People of all ages would enjoy the exhibits and I recommend highly a visit to the Eco-discovery Center.
