We stopped at the Old Town Mexican Cafe on the spur of the moment, were seated at a table for two right next to the sidewalk of Duval Street, and enjoyed a terrific meal while watching the parade of Key West tourists and locals. The service could not have been better. Our waiter, John, was attentive, personable and efficient. The food was extremely tasty and the warm night air and breeze just added to the experience. This is a spot worth returning to, and I recommend it to you. You will most certainly be glad you stopped for a meal here.

The place was not too crowded when we arrived. We were promptly greeted & ordered drinks. I had the grilled fish tacos & they were good. A friend ordered the same thing except the fish was battered & fried & came with cabbage instead of lettuce. The portions were good. The server came by once after delivering our food. Later that night the person who ordered the fried fish tacos had some stomach issues. We don't know if it was the food or a fluke. The place was average but nothing to write home about.

We took 9 members of our family to the Old Town Mexican Cafe in order to celebrate my daughters birthday. The family was happy with the service and the food (even though the Cafe was very crowded).
The place was noisy and everyone had a good time, and enjoyed the party and the food.

Lunched here after taking the Key West express from Ft Myers Beach. Servers were hustling the entire time - it's a long, narrow restaurant with the kitchen at one end. Crab and spinach quesadilla was flavorful, not spicy hot (salsa on the side). Sangria was sweet and tangy.

My dinner was good.. margaritas by the pitcher is the way to go. The service was alittle awkward, we asked for quesedillas, and were told that it would take awhile to heat up the machine, so we should order something else. Ordered chicken burrito, it was good, but not wonderful. Margaritas were good.. had entertainment during dinner, the Gay Pride Parade came down the street as we were eating. Fun time..
