We had a great experience on the Fury "island adventure" daytrip. We left the docks at 9:30 am and headed out for a snorkel and kayak trip...first stop was the reef...we donned wet suits (b/c the temps were "only" in the 70's)...snorkeled for 45 min...great sights...lots of colorful fish and coral...calm conditions made viewing perfect...up to 60ft depth with no problems.
The captain and mate (a very knowledgeable naturalist) were fantastic hosts...breakfast (fresh fruit and pastries), lunch (pulled pork or turkey sandwiches)...all the beer and wine, soda, water, and juice you can drink.
The kayak trip through the mangroves was also excellent...the first mate led us...stopped to identify lots of marine life along the way...sponges, conchs, water cucumbers, jellyfish, saw 2 bald eagles, many herons, and egrets...all in all a wonderful trip!!
Back on the docks by 2pm...a perfect day!!!
