“Clean, Cozy, Quiet but Lousy Internet Access”
Reviewed February 9, 2014

Breakfast was adequate and served outside next to small pool. Be sure to use bug spray. Pool is pretty much just for dipping not good for swimming or sunbathing. Rooms were cozy (small) but nice. Hired staff was polite and helpful. Internet access was bad. Quiet, older clientele which made it pleasant.

Room Tip: Our room was on Eaton, a busy street but was quiet at night. They also had rooms across the street...

We are glad you enjoyed the convenient location, friendly staff, and clientele of the Albury Court Hotel. The complimentary wireless internet access is based around the pool and courtyard area. It's a challenge at times getting a clear signal inside some of the historic buildings, but as technology improves, so will internet service no doubt. In the meantime, it's always nice sitting outside on a beautiful sunny day! Thank you so much for staying with us.

We took a spontaneous trip to Key West in February to get away from the cold winter weather in Ohio. We were traveling on a motorcycle and were caught in the rain. We were desperate to find some where to get out if the rain. While traveling down the Keys we met another couple on a motorcycle who recommended the Key Lime Inn for reasonable rates and a clean room. We called them and they didn't have any rooms available, but the recommended we call The Albury Court. The person that answered the phone was so helpful. They had a room available, but she told us to come over and we would get a "walk in" rate which is less than if we reserve a room on the phone. We arrived at the hotel, got a room for $169 per night. It was a great find! We loved the little court yard where free breakfast is served. They have all local made croissants, bagels, & muffins. The bagels were wonderful. The front desk was very helpful and friendly. We stayed in room 5 which is a handicap room. It had an awesome shower. Room was very clean and comfortable

Room Tip: Ask for room 5 it's larger than some of the other rooms

After arriving in Key West and finding that our vacation rental, reserved and paid for on-line, was a scam, we were thinking of where we could stay. Luckily, I visit Key West, at least, once a month, so I knew we'd be OK. I had stayed at the Chelsea House, one of the Key West Historic Inns properties, which was lovely. We were close to the Albury Court. We were very lucky to get a room, as there were three major events taking place in town. When we checked in, we were told we were the second group THAT DAY that were victims of cybercrime. There were three of us, a girls week, and our spirits were not to be dampened! Our room was perfect for us, #22, two queen beds, one with a fireplace, two TVs, two separately operated air conditioners, very quiet, a kitchen, huge bathroom with lots of counter space, a jacuzzi, and big walk-in shower, quite spacious, and Rusk bath products. There is also a semi-private patio for this room. Two suggestions, if possible, add a full-length mirror, perhaps on back of bathroom door, or, in the back bedroom. The other is that the floor around the outside of the shower needs a good scrubbing, some mildew.
There is a lovely pool area, almost like a private backyard, where continental breakfast is offered in the mornings. Albury Court is conveniently located, close to Duval St, Front St, etc. I do believe they are pet friendly, as well. If you have a car, street parking is not always available close by, especially on weekends, but, the public parking garage is very close, across the street, $13 a day. We parked there, never moved. Worth it for us.
The entire staff was so kind and sympathetic to our circumstances, making changes to accommodate our extended stay, which I do realize is not always possible.
If you want that magical, relaxed Key West vibe, then Albury Court is a must.

Room Tip: We were in #22, second floor, need to climb stairs.

We arrive via the Key West Express. This place was a short walk which was nice since we had our bags in tow. The staff from the front desk right down to the cleaning ladies were super nice. Rooms were average size, super clean and beds were comfortable. Another plus being checkout is at 11:00am and the departing boat was 6:00pm, they were accommodating to hold our bags so we can spend the afternoon enjoying the town. We would stay here again when we return.

Stayed here for our anniversary and can say we were very pleased with the accommodations and staff. Has the Key West Cottage feel, small but very comfortable. The bathroom fixtures are very modern and the shower was incredible! If you are looking for a large luxury condo to stay in this may not be for you. But, if you are looking for a true Key West experience that is also very clean, well kept with incredible staff then this is the place to be. Far enough from the main areas to be quiet but close enough to walk to Duval and Mallory Square. And walking down the streets you can see some gorgeous Key West homes which are even more beautiful during a nighttime stroll.

We will definitely be back.

We stayed for a week during New Year's. The room was very small, one of the smallest I have ever been in. The place was not cheap either. However, It was very clean. The bathroom was nice and large, the air conditioner was new and clean, the staff was very helpful and nice. the pool was very small but cleaned every day. The Breakfast was nice and the coffee was good. Face it, it just isn't cheap to stay in Key West. i don't think the size of the room really mattered though, because we were not in it very much.

While the room was small, isn't everything in Key West?, it was very comfortable and clean as a tack. It appears to have been recently refreshed. Through room lighting very nice with ceiling spots above each side of the bed.
Parking is very limited but there is a parking garage a couple of blocks away. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful.
The hotel is just a few blocks from Duval St and the port yet quiet.
Breakfast is minimal and is available in the patio adjoining the pool.
Room rates in Key West are pricey, isn't everything?, but the
Albury Court probably a best value.
