Yankee Freedom boat was comfortable for the 2 1/2 hour one way ride. The food served was good. Staff were excellent. The guide was very knowledgeable. The fort itself is deteriorating and you cannot explore the entire fort since more than half is closed off. Walking is difficult if you have any kind of disability, very unlevel bumpy ground in the fort. No safety conveniences, when you walk on the 2nd and 3rd level you can walk right off of the level into the mote. Not a good place to take active children. Snorkeling was fair not too many fish.

Great day trip to one of America's most remote nationa parks. This company contracts with the Nationa Park Service to provide ferry service to Dry Tortugas Nationa Park and Fort Jefferson. Breakfast, lunch and snorkel equipment were included. This park is 68 miles west of Key West, FL. The boat ride is 2.5 hours and can be rough at times. If you are prone to sea sickness I highly recommend taking preventative measures. You can pruchase dramamine at check-in. This was a great experience and a bucket list item checked off.

The day was well organized and communicated, to include where to park, what to bring and when to be there. The host was very enthusiastic and provided interesting tidbits of knowledge about the history and current national park facts. The crew was courteous and the vessel was clean and felt safe. The food was good and had variety. A nice touch having snorkeling gear available and easy to check out/in.

The boat ride to the Dry Tortugas was very nice. The breakfast buffet was good and saved us from having to scrounge up breakfast before an early morning departure. The ride was smooth and the onboard monitors provided good information before we arrive at our destination. We took the guided tour of the fort and I really enjoyed learning about the fort. We went snorkeling. I'm just grateful no one took pictures of us trying to learn to snorkel. We had fun trying. The ride back was enjoyable. A day well spent.

The trip to Fort Jefferson and the Dry Tortugas was so much more than I expected. The scenery is breathtaking but the tour of the Fort given by Hollywood from Yankee Freedom was the highlight!! He captured the pure essence of the the historical significance of the landmark and made the whole history come to life!
Highly recommend this tour as a great way to spend a day!!
