We hadn't been to Santiago's the past couple of trips to Key West. We were able to fit a visit in on this time and are thankful that we did. Our service was excellent and with a caring attitude. The food we ate was all brilliant. Our pitcher of sangria was refreshing after being in the sun all afternoon.

We sampled an avocado & pear salad, three beef tenderloins, saganaki, and shrimp with chorizo. All were flavorful, and there were no remnants on the plates.

We will come in again on our next trip.

Santiago's Bodega was very highly recommended and I took my family there for what I thought would be an eventful evening. Eventful it was. We ordered a pitcher of sangria and my 21 son took a sip from my glass. When the waitress asked if he had his ID, he admitted he left his wallet at the hotel. I explained that he was my son, but the night manager decided to get involved and be macho. We got beyond the uncomfortable moment and settled down into a very good dinner. The lamb chops were amazing. So were the Brussels sprouts, the raviolis, potatoes, and virtually everything else we ordered. Let me say right here the food is a 5. Our waitress was slow and we ordered two more small plates toward that end that never arrived, even though the restaurant was near empty. Other servers who were removing plates and pouring water were great, but our main server and the manager put a damper on what should have been a great evening. While there was no customer love, I still highly recommend you attend Santiago's Bodega for a great food experience with good ambiance.

This tapas-style restaurant serves up the best food in Key West - hands down! We had several options from both the cold and hot small plates options and all were outstanding. The tuna ceviche was divine, as was the dinner special that evening - beef tenderloin lo mein with rice noodles and veggies. The bacon-wrapped dates are mouth-watering and could serve as dessert, but I recommend saving room for the bread pudding which is made with croissants and drizzled with bourbon caramel sauce and topped with blueberries. Best we've ever had! Oh, and don't forget the sparkling sangria - cool and refreshing!

We visited last night for food, great place and nice atmosphere staff were very attentive. The beef short ribs were to die for and very more-ish. Special beef tacos with the scallops were a fantastic combination and the lamb is the nicest we’ve tasted. Defo worth a visit.......

You would need to visit this place 15 times to try all of their tapas. All of the offerings (soup to salad to meat to seafood to dessert) were excellent. Salads are large enough for 3-4 to eat. Most tapas are in '3's (3 lamb ribs, 3 tacos, etc). So a group of 2-3 can easily share all dishes but 4 or more may have to order 2 of each if all want to try it. Although they di have a separate vegan and gluten free menu, it is very reduced (but at least they have it!). Say off the beaten path and it was crowded (several groups waiting for tables) even at 8:30 when we finished. Well worth the trip and most plates in the $10-14 range.
