On a tip from a local, we dined at Santiago's for dinner on a recent trip to KW The wine list was impressive, and the menu was outstanding with a large variety of tapas, salads, and more. The waitress mentioned they've had the same menu for 9 years so everything is honed to perfection. The tapas servings were larger than we were used to, so we probably over-ordered, but everything was delicious. We went without reservations, and our table wasn't the best -- RIGHT next to the swinging door in/out of the kitchen, and there was a loud group in the same (small) room. Next time we'll go hungrier, and we'll call ahead for reservations and ask for outdoor seating!

This may be the food that I have ever eaten. This place down the side street of another side street..!! You have to look hard to find it - but my goodness, it's worth it. A bit pricey, but I felt worth every penny. Atmosphere is good, wait staff was good. Food was incredible. Out of our 4 nights in Key West, we ate here twice..!!! Don't miss it...

While in Key West this past week, a friend took me to a new place, Santiago's. It was FANTASTIC. I had never had the tapas dining experience before and this was absolutely the best introduction I can think of. We ordered about five things along with salad and all were amazing.
The service was terrific and perfectly paced. The waiter was very quick and helpful and the food runner was very efficient. About every 10 minutes or so, a new dish came to the table hot and fresh from the kitchen. A few seconds after the plates were finished; the runner very efficiently and quietly removed them from the table.
I think the two most delicious items were the grilled Brussels sprouts and the beef tenderloin with bleu cheese lightly heated/melted on top...this you could cut with a fork!
All in all this was a terrific dining experience and I will definitely add this to my list of favorite restaurants in Key West.
I will highly recommend this restaurant!

We have just returned from a second trip to Key West during which time we visited Santiago's Bodega twice. This place really is as good as it gets. The food is stunning, the owner is a wonderful man and his passion and care for the food and his customers shines through his entire team. An absolute, complete privilege yet again.
