This was probably the most disappointing hotel property that I have stayed at for a while. The problem is that I was expecting a Westin Resort - what I got for my $300 per night in low season, was a second class run down ex-Hilton. You can still see some of the old Hilton signage that management has not spotted!
The pool is small and enclosed - no Key's breeze here.
The pool and grill menu is limited, I hope you like burgers.
The rooms are furnished in 1980's Hilton chic.
The bathrooms are tiny.
On a positive note, the beds are soft, though quite why I needed a full down quilt in mid summer I'm not sure.
The concierge staff are helpful and know their stuff.
We were staying here at the start of Ernesto, Hotel Management failed to inform guests that there was a Storm warning. The first that we knew of Ernesto and the Visitor evacuation order was the staff removing all the chairs from the sunset deck! This in itself moved us to check out early and head north..
