We really enjoyed the toned down nature of the Seaport after spending a few nights on Duval. The Boathouse had a great happy hour and the shops were really enjoyable (not just one $5 t-shirt store after another). We had coupons from our hotel for buy one get one drinks at almost every restaurant in the Seaport!

This is one the hottest spots in the key west. We just loved everything out there they offered! Seafood Restaurants Sealife all around the harbor area. Boats coming in with there catches of the day. Watch them Cleanning the fish and feeding the Tarpon fish that come around everyday at 4pm to feed what boats coming in chumm to them! Its cool cool to watch 75-80 lbs tarpon frenze up all over each other.. a must see!

The Historic Seaport at Key West Bight is a little deceiving. That's because it encompasses a large area and the northern end felt like it was a separate area before I realized it was all part of Key West Bight. There are delightful shops tucked away on hidden lanes, restaurants galore and grand souvenir shops with nice stuff, not the junk you see on Duval St. On a steamy afternoon, I even stopped in at Key West Bait and Tackle and swigged a beer with gnarly locals at a tiny bar with four stools. You can catch all manner of tours from the marina, including one to the Dry Tortugas and a clothing optional sailing/diving trip. A little something for everyone. My favorites included: Dragonfly, Alonzo's Oyster Bar, Half Shell Raw Bar, Mac's Sea Garden and Curio Shop, Key West Bait & Tackle. Explore the area and discover your favorites.

A great area for a walk around - lots of boating activity to watch, pelicans diving etc. Finish off with the best Key Lime pie in Kermits by the harbour - eat in the litle garden by the goldfish pond with bamboo waterfall - blissful.

Great place to watch the boats come in after a day fishing. Mingle with the boat captains as they feed the pelicans and talk about their day on the water.
