A real working seaport mixed with tourist attractions, lots to see and do. Watch the huge white tarpon swim around at the back end of Alonzo's Oyster Bar (and DO NOT MISS their half-price appetizer happy hour - great food, large portions, excellent service!)

It's fun to watch the fishermen throw scraps while cleaning their catch down at the historic seaport in Key West. There are lots of pelicans, and if you look closely, tarpons, parrot fish and more.

Walk a little bit from Mallory Square and you'll hit Key West Bight. This is a municipal marina, so you get a mix of interesting people. There is also a turtle museum, great restaurants near by, less crowded gift shops, easy access to parking and a museum for Fort Jefferson. You can also find charter boats for fishing trips, sunset cruises or even a trip to the Dry Tortugas. We saw manatees near the boats docked in the marina, as well as tarpons and pelicans.

It was nice to see the old ships and new one's not much to do in the seaport. but it was great to see the ships from years gone buy.

lots of things to see and lots of charm. We saw lots of big fish, sadly no manatees. Plenty of bars for a drink, people watching and maybe a bite eat. Shops round out the experience. Take a walk!
