“Trendy but honest cooking”
Reviewed March 2, 2014

Attracted by the reviews and recommendations of locals we tried this restaurant. Whilst the food was interesting and tasty there was a certain degree of coldness from the staff and the layout food on the plate lacked finesse. Enjoyable but not the total experience we were expecting.

It's true that the owner seems to be stressed if you're late. We arrived 5 minutes late (which would be considered very punctual in Europe) and he flew out of the kitchen to check that we were the group he was expecting. However, there is no bar (to speak-of) to wait at if you're early!

“Get off duval, make a reservation, enjoy a real restaurant on key west”
Reviewed March 1, 2014

It's a small restaurant focused on fresh seafood. It's also a real place with a real kitchen- not the like the mass produced tourist troughs on duval. Rode my bike by one Sunday night, and they were taking names outside on the sidewalk. Came back an hour later and sat at the bar. Had an awesome meal featuring grouper, mani, and tuna. Worth the wait. Make reservations well in advance.

“Off the beaten path.”
Reviewed February 28, 2014

Very good food, but small so reservations are a must.
For starters we had a WILD MUSHROOM QUESADILLA and SUSHI that was on special. Both were very good. For the main course we had the GNOCCHI, and a MANGO CHUTNEY pasta special w/ GROUPER. The gnocci was highly recommended by our server, and she was right. It was wonderful. Very rich and creamy with a hint of spice and lots of fish. The other special that was ordered was good but very sweet. The portions were generous and the service was good too.

“delicious!”
Reviewed February 28, 2014

Had dinner here on Valentine's Day. It is a casual fun place with delicious food. Had grouper special with thai sticky rice, strawberry pie for dessert. Excellent service. Very well priced for the meal and wine. Highly recommended!

“Small but good”
Reviewed February 28, 2014

We had dinner at the bar. The bar tender was great. The restaurant is small but runs like a well oiled machine. Wine and beer only but good selection. The food was excellent. Worth a try. Just be careful sitting at the bar as the bar tneder will steal your joke.
