Any time I see a bottle of wine on the wine list for four times the price I can buy the bottle at the big box store, I get a bit leary. However, it seems that every place during high season in Key West is a bit over-priced. Anyway, my wife and I stopped by Michaels without a reservation and were seated at the bar. We had presto fondue ($32.00) and a bottle of prosecco ($34.00). The bartender kept the bottle iced down and refreshed our glasses whenever we ran a bit low. The fondue came with a large platter of veggies, breads and meats (chicken and salami). Those were much more than the two of could eat. The fondue was so so (perhaps try the classic fondue instead), but the service and atmosphere were excellent. The restaurant seemed to be popular with the locals.
