“Hard to beat this place”
Reviewed May 21, 2013

There is nothing bad to say about our dinner at Blue Heaven. The atmosphere is laid back and funky, the roosters running around are adorable, the staff is friendly, attentive and accommodating. But most importantly, the food is amazing. We ate here on our first night in Key West and it will be hard to replicate this experience. You will be lucky if you get Wendy as your server.

“Heaven on an English Muffin!”

Eggs benedict fan? Then you MUST come here! Ask for their Lobster Benedict with Key Lime Hollandaise Sauce. Oh Lord....this IS Heaven! While you are there, sitting in the the back yard, watching the chickens and their young run around the yard, sit back and take in the quintessential Key west experience. A MUST on your next visit!

“Great place for breakfast”
Reviewed May 21, 2013 via mobile

Fantastic courtyard with a bar and chilled out atmosphere. Great breakfast, fast and efficient service . A little nook of a place to find, which we're looking to do tomorrow. Cracking place.

“Rip Off!”
Reviewed May 21, 2013

My parents took me here as a child and I've wanted to come back for 20 years. I finally did and what a disappointment. We ended up with a $100.00 dollar lunch and left hungry. We ordered two lobster rolls which were $22.00 each. What came out was an English muffin style bun with a big slice of tomato and some lettuce and about 1-2 ounces of lobster. The lobster was flavorless or there was just too little to even taste. The menu was very limited. For lunch you can have Cesar salad, fish of the day, or lobster roll. Not a good place to go if you want choices. On the plus side they do have good drinks (we had 3 mojitos) and the Key Lime Pie is fantastic. However, at $9.00 a slice I would recommend getting a whole one in the gift shop. The atmosphere and outdoor games are also nice. Overall this place is just too expensive for what they give you, choices are limited, portions small, food edible but not great or even good.
A plain Cesar Salad was $12.00
