i think this place is treating everyone like a tourist they will never see again. we waited what seemed like a long time to even get service with only 3 other tables in the place taken. bruschetta was just plain unseasoned tomatoes cut up on crustini. i only ate it after i put salt, pepper & some olive oil from the table on it. it seemed to have no dressing what so ever & def no seasoning of ANY sort. then i ordered lasagne & didn't take even 4 bites. the waiter came immediately after our food got to the table & asked if all was good however i had not taken a single bite at that point it had just arrived out of the oven, so was too hot to try. we didn't see him again, perhaps because we don't drink liquor however when he came to clear our plates he noticed i didn't eat my food & asked if wanted to take it home. i stated i didn't & he asked if it was ok at which point i stated i didn't care for it & he says sorry. that was the end of it, he didn't adjust our bill (close to $200) nor did he as much as offer a cup of coffee as an apology. i had a good salad there but not good enough to bring me back & i go to the keys 2-3 times a year!!

This is our favorite restaurant on Key West where we have visited for almost two decades. Antonia's never fails to live up to our expectations. My only advice is to be sure to make reservations so you are assured a seating at a time you prefer to dine.

Homemade pasta is perfect, and the sauces are so fresh. The "key" with Antonia's is that locals come here. It's nothing like the typical Duval fare. Yes, the atmosphere is dark and slightly kitschy, but the food will keep you there. We enjoyed linguine Al Gambera and linguine Al Vongole followed by tiramisu and coconut cream pie - all homemade and exceptional! Enjoy!

Very very nice place for a more expensive, but well worth the $, special night out in key west. The potato puree was heaven. And both our meals (I had fish of the day -grilled grouper, and my partner had a pasta dish) were very very tasty! Good service:)
