This was a nice dinner in a very nice, old building with great interior decor. It's also not a place for flip-flops and t-shirts. They might let you in (maybe) but you'd feel foolish. Most folks were in Key West casual or better, meaning golf shirts and slacks were the base line. So. A tad more upscale than many in Key West. That was nice. So was the service which was prompt, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was excellent and my wife had the best scallops she'd every had...and she eats a LOT of scallops! It got a little loud, which can become a problem if you or companion is soft-spoken. However, it got lot because the place was fool and everyone was having a good time. That's not a bad thing. It's not cheap, though. Both of us had a mixed drink, a glass of wine, a salad, and an entree. It came to $165. Like I said, not cheap. But it was a nice place, with an upscale feel, and good food amid very nice surroundings. One can always find a reason to splurge for at least ONE meal on holiday, yes? Note: Make a reservation.
