“Peaceful setting and great customer service!”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

Simonton Court was a great location. It was peaceful yet close to the action of Duval Street. The lush garden setting makes you feel like you are the only people at the B&B which is relaxing. We stayed in the front two rooms (Royal Palm Suite and Bamboo Suite) of the Townhouse Guesthouse. The Bamboo Suite could use new couches (not comfortable) in the living space but overall the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The small pool was perfect and heated nicely! Ben and the staff of Simonton Court were wonderful and always courteous and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

I love this place! My husband wanted me to stay in one of the fancier hotels down here to celebrate my birthday, but we'd stayed here before and I wanted to do so again.
You go through the gate and are welcomed by greenery and flowers (right now red poinsettias for Christmas). We have a place with the bedroom upstairs In the loft and a kitchen with full refrigerator, microvwave, glasses, etc. which is perfect for two people - the cost Is just as wonderful. They have all sorts of other accommodations - a big old house, separate cottages.
There' s a generous free breakfast and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Duval, Front Street, Mallory Square, the waterfront homes of tourist boats are all so close.
Only drawback is no parking, but there are spots nearby that once you grab a place, you can leave your car there forever at no charge

Stayed here based on a referral from a family member.. Was pleasantly surprised by it! It doesn't look like much from the street but once inside the Historic Inn, we were very pleased. The room was Marigold sc3, had a large room with a refrigerator and big bathroom with nice big shower with 2 shower heads. The room also had it's own private balcony, very large and nice to sit out on in the afternoons with a glass of wine!
Pool areas are small, but very charming feel.
Free street parking is available, just ask front desk where, not all streets are free to park on.
Great location for walking to Duval street!!
Will definitely return.

Stayed here back in late Sept/ early Oct 2011.

The weather was awful, but Key West is just the best!

So cosmopolitan. Lots to do but 3/4 days is enough. We drove down from Miami for the weekend.

The Simonton, is clean, comfortable and well priced. The staff were professional and welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay here

We visited Key West on Oct 11-12 and we were very fortunate to have been able to stay those 2 days at Simonton Court. This place is a gem...the room was cozy, comfortable, quiet and very clean. The breakfast provided each morning by the pool has lots of variety, is very good with terrific service included. Check in is quick and the person who checks you in then shows you around the propery to see the pools, where breakfast is served and then to your room. We were fortunate to have Ben check us in as in the 2 days we stayed here he went beyond being helpful. He gave directions, told us good places to eat, canceled an excusion for us, found a clinic for me when I got an ear infection and mailed both the money and phone charger I left behind in our room. A special thanks to Ben who made our stay here even more special.
The Inn's location is in a nice quiet area but an easy walk to Duvall St. and Mallory Square. If you rent a bike or scooter there is a place to park them at the Inn.
Hope to return to Key West and if so, then Simonton Court will be our home away form home while there.

Booked through the visitors centre at Key Largo with their recommendation, we did not know what to expect.
On arrival we were shown personally to our rooms and given instructions about how all the mod cons worked. The hotel had good amenities (4 pools which were we told were open all the time) The gardens looked very nice and well maintained. Breakfast was provided with almost a permanent coffee supply during the day. The rooms were well appointed and decorated with a tropical feel. It is located close to Duvall Street which concerned us but it was like an oasis close to Key Wests "action" area
