We loved the other two coffee houses this owner has had in town and looked forward to the move to bigger, cleaner digs. We were not disappointed as the cinnamon coffee cake (killer) is still on the menu along with the best coffee drinks on the island. Still have their awesome coffee ice cubes in the cold drinks...why doesn't everyone do this? Friendly staff and comfortable seating. Just wish the town, or whoever, would put up some bike racks!!! Love this place and in a town of many coffee place...this remains the best by far.

Four of us were jonesin for a coffeehouse and thought we found one when we stumbled across this place just off Duval. No other customers were there when we walked in, yet the person working didn't have much interest in welcoming us, saying hello, or even cracking a smile. I had dropped my money on the floor by the counter, and as I was picking it up, I thought the person who was working said something to me. So, I said, "Oh, I'm sorry?" He just looked at me. I then said, "I missed what you said." His response was, "I haven't said anything to you." He could have at LEAST cracked a smile. Guess he was having a bad day???

I ordered a medium iced latte with almond milk. Gotta love that they have almond milk! My friend ordered a large iced latte and said he wanted the "regular" milk. The guy behind the counter didn't look amused and made a comment about how my friend wouldn't be so happy if he was lactose intolerant. Geez, buddy! Relax! He was only kidding. He just said he wanted "regular" milk, and I certainly wasn't offended so why the hostility toward my friend who wanted "regular" milk?

When our drinks arrived, they were both the same size even though we ordered different sizes, and we were charged more than what was on the menu. At this point, neither of us did anything other than pay the $4.60-something each and leave the change in the tip jar that was overflowing in bills (sometimes it's just easier to leave the change behind rather than carry it around, even though the person didn't deserve anything). There is NO possible way ANY of the tip money in that jar was legit. It looked like a week's worth of tips at a good coffeehouse in Seattle.

In the end, I paid $2 extra for a larger coffee than I wanted, and was served by a guy who couldn't give a rat's [--] about my business. The only reason they didn't get just ONE star is because the ice cubes they use in iced coffee drinks are actually coffee ice cubes. Very cool.

This place was about as welcoming as a hurricane, yet they even have a sign requesting we post reviews of them online. Really? Well, here's your review.

Get Cuban coffee con leche here every morning. Friendly staff and always get a good conversation when I come up with the dog. They have dog biscuits and water! Priced right and comfy inside and on the patio.
