“Excelent Purvian Food”
Reviewed June 9, 2014

This is a little jewel tucked in on the corner of White and Petronia. Have been to Peru a few times and joyed the special flavors so I was excited to find this across from my B& B. You just can't find Peruvian food let alone excellent Peruvian food at reasonable prices. The owners became my friends as I sat at the bar for dinner and they chatted with me as they served others. I LOVED IT!

“We were in Peru for one evening”
Reviewed June 5, 2014 via mobile

After having a two week-trip in Florida, this place was an absolute relief. All the burgers/steaks/fries could finally be forgotten and traded for a great, honest and original Peruvian meal. The owners are fun and so are the Peruvian televisionshows in the background. Wished we had a place like this back home...

“Disappointment”
Reviewed June 1, 2014

Went to have dinner there because we'd had good Peruvian food once before somewhere else. It was a huge disappointment. The wine selection was non existent, we had to choose between a huge bottle of white wine and a sweet red wine. We ordered a seafood combo as a starter but it came at the same time with the main dishes. The dish had white fish, scallops and maybe something else and it was all fried, tasteless and rubbery. As a main we had paella, which was tasteless (except it had too much cilantro) and the shrimp, scallops, octopus were over-cooked and probably from the freezer. The lomo was ok. We also tried some Peruvian sangria but it was very sweet. The service however was nice and efficient.

All in all it wasn't what we expected and the food was definitely over priced. It's more like a fast food place than a restaurant where you can sit and relax, everybody came and went while we were eating. Can't really recommend the place.

“Great Food!”
Reviewed May 12, 2014 via mobile

New to Peruvian food and wonderfully surprised! Appropriately priced, small quiet restaurant. Friendly service. Definitely recommended. We had steak tacu tacu and chicken fried rice. Try the fried yuca, like thick cut french fries with a slight hint of sweetness.
