Our room was spacious and well appointed. The 3rd floor walk-up afforded exercise & a quieter environment. The staff are very helpful & courteous, and provide an excellent poolside breakfast. Yes, it is a bit noisy, but we enjoy being able to walk or take a pedicab to all of our favorite haunts. Having been coming to Key West for 30 years, we have a lot of favorite haunts.

Room Tip: The third floor is your best bet for a quieter room. There is a lot of street noise from trucks, mop...

We were scheduled to arrive after 9 PM, but did not get in until after 10. A short taxi ride from the airport and we found that the night desk clerk had waited for us. He gave us a 50 cent tour and got us to our room and told us to check in the following morning, so we got off to a good start.
The breakfast is good, the staff and guests friendly, 'liming hour' is fantastic, and the grounds/room were first rate. We loved sitting on the porch, watching the people go by.
When we asked about bike rentals, we found that they had a deal with one of the companies and the bikes were dropped off at the hotel.
The staff always had good advice, probably better than that of a concierge at an over-priced resort.
We will be back.

We spent a couple of nights here over the weekend. When checking in, everyone was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble - I fatally made an Amazon order, which meant that a few items were shipped in four oversized boxes. I was expecting some grumbling, but was greeted with smiles. For the first time ever, when tipping I was told it wasn't necessary.

Room was large, airy and very comfortable. Great bathroom, which was really clean. Also had a small kitchenette, which was a plus as my husband and I like to buy water to keep in the room. Lovely toiletries (which I have since bought some of!). Bed was not too firm, and not too soft - just right.

Location was absolutely wonderful. One block from Duval St so quiet at night.

Very friendly on check out - we were sad to leave. We can't wait to stay there again!

We stayed here with friends of ours. They found and booked the rooms. The experience was wonderful. The staff is so attentive, friendly and very helpful. Our room was spotless and just simply perfect for our stay. The breakfast certainly had plenty to chose from and the early evening cocktail hour was also a very nice touch. We would definitely stay her again!!!

Room Tip: We had a room on the ground floor and it was perfect! Nice patio seating area right outside of our r...

Alexander, Dennis, Scott and other unnamed staff made our short stay at the Cypress House in Key West a delight! My wife and I have never been to Key West and rarely utilize a B & B when traveling. We planned this trip using Tripadvisor as a primary source. I was attracted to the B & B's first because they were cheaper than the chains in Key West. We also like that we would be in a historic home and closer to the local culture. We did our homework and chose Cypress House. We made a really good decision. The room was large and clean and comfortable. The common area out by the pool was inviting and friendly. Breakfast was very well done but simple. Happy hour each day was perfect. Located just one block from the main drag in town, Duval Street, we were surrounded by activity yet in a quiet pocket away from the crowd. As stated, the staff were a delight to interact with and accomodating with directions, restaurant recommendations etc. My wife and I were really pleased with ourselves that we chose to stay at the Cypress House. We recommmend it.

Room Tip: The building we stayed in is a huge three story walk-up. We were on the third deck. If you have mo...

Cypress House is a small historic hotel located in walking distance of Duval street and the old parts of Key West. The staff was very friendly and helpful, our room and bath room was spacious, clean and recently remodeled. It was nicely decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast is included and offers a decent variety. We had a great time and would always gladly stay there again.

I love this hotel. The only problem were encountering is road noise because we are literally on the corner of the building which faces the intersection in room one. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful hotel, pool, breakfast, etc. everyone was very friendly and helpful. We loved it!
