Stayed here for the first time with our friends and we are SUPER happy we did! It is in the middle of EVERYTHING. Yes, this is a boutique hotel but it is very well maintained, VERY clean and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. This will definitely be our go-to hotel each time we go to Key West.

Room tip: Our room was 209. The door is the closest to the hotel's outdoor pool/hot tub and the windows face Southard Street. Every now and then we heard noise from the corridor and street but nothing to the point where it disturbed us or our sleeping.

Key West Botique hotel, The Pegasus Resort Hotel, offered us terrific and affordable hotel accommodations in Key West, FL wonderfully close to all of the downtown action! Sandeep (I believe the kind owner and all about the best service) greeted our family with smiles each and every day of our family vacation to the keys. He and his luxury yet quaint hotel staff took care of anything and everything we needed. From fresh towels to recommending and securing us dinner reservations, they had no problem going the extra mile. A wonderful key west hotel for families looking to travel five star on a reasonable budget. Frankly, with all the money in the world I would most definitely return to the best hotel in Keywest, the Pegasus Hotel!!!!

The good reviews for this place surprise me. In my opinion, this is not really a hotel. It's more of a hostel type place. Location is amazing and rooms are clean (outdated) but thats it. Mattress felt like a granite countertop. AC works, but the unit is 20 years old and you will need earplugs. It is so loud. Front desk was AWFUL. The rude front desk attendant charged my card immediately, before we even saw the room, and didn't tell me. Who does that? I don't mind bare bones accommodations, but friendly, clear, upfront service doesn't cost a thing.

Dead center in the middle of Key West. Almost the exact distances from the hotel to Southernmost Point, or Mallory Square or beach/waterfront..and obviously just off the famous Duval Street! They just completed renovations, so rooms are clean. Nice roof top bar, deck and pool, though you won't spend too much time there (you're in the heart of Key West, afterall!) The two bartenders were GREAT guys, with great "locals" info. One originally from Michigan, the other originally from Equador, so there you go! Great guys. It's an old building with only about 30 rooms, and the standard King we stayed in was small, but how much time will you be in the room in Key West? They do have a few larger suites, as well. It was clean, convenient and great for the price. As I read a few complaints about, noise, small room etc., I am baffled. You are off of Duval, so deal with a little late night party noise, people! (not that bad, really) Turn up the AC, TV or get earplugs! If you want to pay $400 or more per night, have a huge, quiet suite, go somewhere else! GREAT value and location and would stay again...Parking is just around the corner with their own private lot.
