My husband and I stayed for 2 nights at the start of October. We were checked in by a very friendly woman called Nancy. She took a great deal of time to mark out restaurants of the type we wanted on a map etc.
Our room was acceptable - very noisy a/c unit and poor shower. The pool area is relatively small with a lot of trees over it - it did not seem to have been cleaned/swept for a couple of days. Lots of towels available. They have a bathing suits optional policy and while we were there, there was someone taking full advantage of that.
The hotel is only a couple of blocks from Duval Street which appears to be the main street. There is a reasonable internet cafe/coffee shop round the corner - rather ditzy lady running it, fun if you have time to kill, infuriating if you are in a hurry.
The hotel has no parking but we were able to park on the street without any trouble.
The cat is extremely friendly and keen to get into your room - great if you like cats (as we do) but if you are a cat phobe or allergic - I am confident the cleaners do not stop it getting into rooms.
There is no in room safe but there is a fridge. Definitely put any food items in the fridge - the people in the room next door had an ant problem!
The breakfast options were probably but the first 2 apples I picked up were half rotten so I gave up.
