We visited the first week of June 2013. We were greeted when we arrived by a six-toed cat from the Hemingway House next door. We stayed in the Roma room which has its own porch. The room was nice and the grounds were great. This is a small property tucked away down an alley off of Duval Street. Three central area is shaded and has a small dipping pool. There is a basic continental breakfast every morning with the added option of mimosas. The afternoon happy hour is from 4 to 5:30 with a basic bar, beer and wine which is a very nice touch. We enjoyed visiting with other guests and sharing our experiences. This is a very open property with the office and kitchen in separate small buildings. The staff is very attentive and assisted us with everything we needed. We stayed at a B&B because, even though another reviewer noted that the rates have increased, the rates at the resorts were substantially higher. We plan to stay again soon.

Stayed at Andrews Inn twice, once in 2010 for a week and again for 3 days in 2011. Both times in May, this year I couldn't even get a room. When trying to make reservations for May of 2014 found that the prices have gone up significantly and the 3 day minimum is now 4 days. I guess the secret of this place is out, but for the current price with the longer stay it would cost almost double so I will be looking elsewhere.

We stayed in the Pamplona room, which was great, and had a fantastic view overlooking the Hemminghway swimming pool! The room was large and had great storage, a fridge and good bathroom. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, and we enjoyed our time on the private balcony, which enjoyed the late afternoon sun. Breakfast and Happy hour were both great...lovely garden, pool and flowers, with the addition of the friendly cats made our stay one to remember... We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Only small grumble, was we got caught out stepping in dog poo, just out side the gate on the pathway!!

Room Tip: We would say stay in the Pamplona Room if you get the chance...

Such a fantastic find! The staff was super nice and the location is the best! Just far enough from Duval to not hear it late at night. No jacuzzi and small bath tub, but the pool was nice. Free breakfast and happy hour daily. An amazing value for couples of any age.

My hsuband and i just got back from our stay at the Andrews Inn. we were there from 5/20-5/27/2013. We go to Key West every year (for the past 10 years) and this was our first stay at the Andrews Inn. We rented the Tree Top Cottage and absolutely LOVED it. a couple we met on a prior trip suggested we try Andrews Inn and we are so glad they did! We had a great experience. Lisa- met us at the main inn and gave us lots of good info and escorted us over to the cottage which is about 1 block from the main inn. the cottage is GREAT for a couple. roomy with a full kitchen and a deck with your own hot tub on it! lots of privacy and still just a few yards off Duval street--yet QUIET! it felt very homey--especially with the gray striped cottage cat (with the BIG meow) who became our vacation "pet"! sweetest most friendly cat ever! hope the next guests take good care of him! our cottage was clean, great location and everything we needed. we will definitely stay here again--already planning our next trip back!! i cant recommend Andrews Inn enough! also for those who are planning on going to key west, here are a few recommendations--Blue Heaven for breakfast/lunch, Antonia's for Italian, Michael's for steak or fondue at the bar, Braza Lena for the BEST burger in town (or for the whole brazilian steak house experience), conch republic or jimmy at the westin for the Best Mojito's!! Love visiting Key west and loved our experience with the Andrews Inn!!!

Room Tip: if you want to socialize, etc stay at the Inn. if you want privacy and lots of room rent one of the...

This was a very convenient location for our stay, the innkeepers were nice, very helpful and the room was everything we needed. We had the Treetop Suite, which is not in the main hotel but is a block away, on the top floor of a house the Inn owns. It is off of Duval Street so there isn't too much traffic or noise. The room has a full kitchen, large bedroom/living room area and a small bathroom. There is also a deck off the room that has a small hot tub, big enough for 2 and a table with umbrella and two chairs. It was a great place to sit, beautiful trees overhanging. One word of warning for anyone who has not been to Key West: while it is a tourist town it is also a operational town. The garbage trucks came around at 6am. If you are a light sleeper take a white noise machine. But overall this was a charming and relaxing experience. If I go back this is where I'll stay.

Room Tip: The house the Treetop is in is an older house and I can't imagine what the noise was like downst...

I brought my wife to Key West (a place she had always wanted to visit) for her birthday weekend and found Andrews Inn through reviews including TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. We had a great room that looked out at the Hemingway House and the location was perfect - right off Duval and Truman but tucked down an alley so it was peaceful and quiet even while sitting and relaxing on the patio by the pool. The location made the perfect spot to stop back during the day for a run, after the beach or sightseeing and a extra treat with an extensive breakfast in the morning and happy hour snacks and beverages in the evening. The staff were very helpful with suggestions for what to do, see and where to eat. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.
