We stayed here thru our 35 th anniversary. It couldn't have been more perfect. The whole staff was friendly and helpful without crowding us. The rooms are beautiful, updated and spotless. The breakfast was perfect and plentiful as well as the little extras, lemonade, chilled water bottles and bags/ towels for beach and more! The garden areas are private and it was nice to escape (fanasy fest hustle bustle) to dip in the pool or read a book in the hammock. Our key west trip was amazing, much of it was because of this excellent B&B, so worth the money.

Room Tip: Every room is amazing, we styled In two different ones (ours was booked for the last day and we had...

The mermaid & the Alligator is the only place I will ever stay in Key west. The staff is AMAZING. They have thought of everything. You feel at home the minute you get there. The dogs are so well behaved and fun to play with. Gerri made some fabulous recomendations for us. Definitly worh the money!

Room Tip: The Bamboo room is removed from the main house...just steps away from the garden.

The garden area is very nice which includes lots of plants, birds, and sitting area. The rooms were perfect. Overall, the experience could have been better if breakfast was extended and/or if lunch was served. It's better than staying in a DaysInn.

Room Tip: Location is key and if you don't want to stay in a hotel. Go in the off season!

We stayed here in July after doing much research on Trip Advisor. We couldn't have been happier. We had a very warm personal welcome from Dean and felt very much at home. We stayed in the papaya room which is in a separate building from all but one of the rooms and it was very quiet. The room was small but we didn't need much space since we were out most of the day and the room was very tastefully decorated. Our room was impeccably clean and was made very neat and tidy every day by the housekeepers. The owners were also very helpful in recommending restaurants and activities for us. We loved the dogs, so friendly. Also, the afternoon lemonade and evening wine was a very nice touch. And the breakfast...phenomenal, much better than I was expecting. Breakfast is included and the inn keepers give you the option of having a light breakfast of yogurt/cereal or they will make you the dish of the morning (pancakes, waffles etc.). The beds were super comfy, we slept so well every night. We would definitely stay here again!

The M&A was our first B&B experience and it was great. The property is like a tropical getaway, beautiful foliage, birds, soft music. Very relaxing after a day of sightseeing.

The owners are very accommodating and serve a delicious breakfast every morning.

We met very nice guests during our stay also, a very intimate atmosphere.

This little piece of heaven was the perfect get away in the heart of key west. My husband and I spoiled ourselves with a three day stay at the Mermaid & The Alligator and it was 100% worth it. We were within walking and bicycling distance of everything we wanted to see and do. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, yet just a few minutes walk from bustling Duval St.. The staff was so kind and helpful. The vegetarian friendly breakfast was yum! And the room ... gorgeous!

We loved relaxing in the backyard oasis, coffees in hand (or wine in the evening), playing with and petting the dogs, taking in the beautiful weather and lovely decor, and going for a dip in the pool. There is no place else for us in Key West!

Room Tip: The Audubon is neatly tucked away on the first floor. Don't let the room's location deter yo...

Dean, Paul and staff create a wonderful, relaxing, quiet tropical atmosphere. The patio gardens were soothing and magical. The house living rooms were inviting and cozy. Our bedroom was quiet and comfortable. The daily breakfast was scrumptious and offered a variety of fresh food to choose from. The afternoon snacks and evening wine were a perfect pick me up prior to going out for the evening. Havana and Caya provided fun in the yard. The concierge service was excellent. We will stay again the next time we're in town and definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Room Tip: Royal Poinciana room was a quiet corner bedroom, spacious and comfortable on the second floor. Sitti...
