We had no plans and decided to head down to the Keys. I figured it was going to be a disaster and we would have to head north to find anywhere to stay but we found Ambrosia! What a find. The staff was awesome and very accommodating considering we just pulled up. We ended up staying 2 extra nights. Great place, extremely reasonable considering Key West prices. Clean and eclectic. Next time I think we will call ahead and stay the week!More
We enjoyed Ambrosia. It was a block or so off o f the Main Street so you did not hear all of the noise. Breakfast every day. Staff very nice and helpful. The only down fall was the creaky bed! We would stay again.

As a guest of Ambrosia you stayed in our private Havana Cabana which is located on the second floor of the Ambrosia House, a.k.a “Ole Girl”. The Havana Cabana is truly a very intimate and romantic suite, I am sure you enjoyed some R&R in the in-room Jacuzzi tub! Ambrosia is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, just a block and a half away from Duval. You are correct! You cannot hear the hustle and bustle from Duval, at times it feels like it is worlds away. Our team is thankful for your praises. Thank you for reporting that “creak”, we strive for 100% guest satisfaction and our Chief Engineer has since corrected it! Ambrosia was gracious enough to not only provide accommodations for our 30 plus guests but also allow us to host our wedding reception ( 50 guests) in their amazing courtyard. The team at Ambrosia was nothing but helpful in the planning stages prior to the wedding. They were always available to answer questions and provide recommendations . Once we arrived down there prior to the wedding, they catered to all our requests. The back courtyard is absolutely beautiful and provided a perfectly intimate environment for the reception. All of our guests were extremely happy with their rooms and loved, loved, loved the breakfast every morning. The location of the breakfast (in the courtyard) was great. It was great to be able to come out of your room, grab breakfast and sit with all your friends and family. We highly recommend the Alligator Suite. It was just so relaxing to sit out on the porch on the outdoor living room furniture and take in the view of the courtyard. The room is beautiful and has the ability to connect to the Flemings Verbana room if you know the people who are staying there. Having this was key during the wedding day. We were able to open up the door and connect the two rooms, allowing all the girls to get ready in one location and have access to the back courtyard as well.
If you are looking for a place to host a small wedding reception, look no further than Ambrosia. If you are looking to escape your daily life and enjoy and relax in Key West, look no further than Ambrosia!!

It was a pleasure to see how the vision of your wedding day was carried out accordingly, the courtyard was gorgeous. I am sure you both enjoyed dancing in our tropical gardens into the wee hours. As our guests, you had the best of both worlds, taking in the views from the Alligator suite’s outdoor living room and having the access to our two story Flemings Veranda. This town home has a full kitchen, large living room, second floor bedroom, and also features first and second floor verandas overlooking historic Fleming Street. We had a wonderful time staying here. We were on a spur of the moment trip to Key West and had no reservations nor did we know where we would end up. We also had our 2 small Shih Tzu puppies with us. The Inn was not only available but friendly to accommodate us with the puppies. Loved it here will be back!

Ambrosia is the perfect place to stay in Key West. It is close enough to the excitement of Duval Street but just far enough (2 blocks) to have the peace and quiet of a very relaxing vacation. There are 3 pools to choose from, 2 of which are heated. Sitting poolside in the morning for a complimentary breakfast is the perfect start to the day. I would recommend renting bikes to get around the island. You'll be able to explore the hidden streets of the island that are lined with beautiful foliage and unique homes that you may not get to appreciate if driving around by car. The staff is wonderful, friendly and accommodating. A+ in every way.

We are nestled in a quiet neighborhood on Fleming Street; however, we are only a block and a half away from all of the entertainment on Duval. As a guest of Ambrosia you and your family stayed in our luxurious two room Sailfish suite located at our Ambrosia House equipped with a four poster canopy king bed. I am sure you enjoyed relaxing on the private veranda and catching some rays in our tropical courtyard. Whether it is a trip to the beach at Fort Zachary Taylor or cruising the neighborhood viewing the conch houses, bikes are the easiest and fastest way to explore the island.

This was our second visit to Ambrosia and it can't get any better. The staff is great, the accomdations are great. the location is great....If I haven't said it yet, this place is great! The morning (included) breakfast is a wonderful way to start your day. We spent some time relaxing around the pool, it was peaceful and quiet. We were able to walk to all of the sites we wanted to visit. This works well because parking can be a challenge at times.There is a small market just up the block that will meet with most needs. Close enough to Duval to walk and far away enough to not be a bother.
