“Awesome stay as usual”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2012

We have stayed here several times now.Since staying here we stayed at another motel once as they didnt have any rooms available for our last minute trip.Needless to say that was a mistake. We have decided not to come down to Key West if Angelinas does not have any rooms available. They always make you feel at home there and they remember you when you come back months later.I have never stayed at any other hotel/motel and been treated like family. The pool is great also. The homemade cinnamon rolls in the morning are amazing. They have other choices also but I always get a cinnamon roll before we head off to have a bigger breakfast. And their prices are very reasonable. So thats also a plus.Thats why I booked with them the first time.

Have not used B & B's in the past but thought we'd give it a try because of price and proximity to area sites. Our host was very friendly at check-in and gave great recommendations for local places to see and where to dine. She also made sure we had a place to park our rental car which can be difficult in Key West.

The room we stayed in was number 10 "Trixie" and it was bright and well decorated. No TV but we really didn't have time to watch it plus wi-fi was available. Pool was small but very clean and we loved the little waterfall.

Close to Duval street but the neighborhood was not the best and we were uneasy walking back later in the evening but never head of anyone having problems.

The only issue we had was the food preparation area where we saw a pet cat getting up on the counter. We do not have pets in the house at home and this was not appealing as we ate our food. Another annoyance, which is no fault of the operators, were the neighborhood roosters crowing in the early morning. We live in the country ourselves but were not use to this.

Been to Key West several times staying at different bed & breakfast establishments each time. Although all were nice, I think we've now found a home. A very well kept and clean bed & breakfast two blocks from Duval. Close enough to all the action for easy walking, but just far enough away to get away and enjoy some quite. When you meet the owners, Kevin and Janet Life, you know right away they really enjoy what they do. At breakfast make sure you try the homemade cinnamon rolls, they are great. The pool was the perfect temperature and open round the clock as long as you were quite in the evening. My wife and I had the opportunity to talk with several of the guests, a few of which had been to Angelina Guest House several times and know we'll definitely be a repeat customer. Already looking forward to returning.

Stayed in the Honeymoon Suite which, I think, is called Debra (but I could be wrong) for one night in August. The room was lovely and you could step straight out the the pool. The staff were very helpful and got me a hair dryer when I asked. No TVs, which was fine by us, but there was wireless. The pool area was clean and you could help yourself to towels and suncream. The breakfast was simple was did the job. The cinnamon buns were delicious!
The Angelina is in a perfect location for exploring Key West by foot. Nearly everything can be reached within in a 20min walk. The staff also reserve a parking space for you which is a big bonus!
Although Key West is definitely worth a visit if you are in that part of the world I think we saw all the main things in one day (although other do say they could spend a week there!). Therefore, it is not likely that I would return to Key West, but, if I ever did, I would definitely stay at the Angelina.

Delightful bed-and-breakfast style accommodation. Great location, nice pool, generous complementary breakfast, lovely staff. Although our room shared communal amenities, they are immaculate and there aren't many guests. Would highly recommend.

We just returned from an 7/29-7/31/12 stay at Angelina's. We reserved the deluxe queen room with immediate access to the clean refreshing pool. We are both fairly discriminating travelers when it comes to accomodations, and we were both pleasantly surprised by the comfortable accommadations and tranquil atmosphere.

The poolside breakfast was more varied and fresh than standard B&B fare. The homemade cinnamon rolls were abundant and a delicious treat.

We felt welcomed and appreciated by the owners and the entire staff.

We will return in the future and would highly recommend Angelina's to anyone wanting a special Key West B&B where you can safely park once and conveniently walk to Duval St. as well as Mallory Square and everything in between.

My parents took me and my boyfriend to Key West to celebrate both of our birthdays. My mother looked long and hard for a place that can sleep 5 adults in 2 rooms. She ended up booking with the Angelina House and she definalty made the best choice.

When you get there you park in their temporary parking spaces and check in. Someone shows you around and then they help you park your car where it can stay all weekend because you are SO CLOSE to everything!

The house was a former brothel and all the rooms are named after the former "working girls". The rooms were amazing...I stayed in "Debbie" which is the one room with french doors that open into the courtyard. I was concerned it would be loud in the morning because breakfast was served within feet of the doors...but it was not an issue at all! My parents and Aunt stayed upstairs in the "Brandi" room that had two beds and they loved it. The beds were comfortable and the linens reminded me of staying in someones house. There was also a fridge and microwave in the rooms so you can actually take your leftovers home and eat them late at night when you get home from the crazy Duval street scene! The A/C in the rooms was perfect...also a ceiling fan...the temperature in the room was perfect to escape to after a long day in the sun.

The courtyard was great...a small tropical pool with a waterfall and seating all around. There was always someone there, but you never felt crowded. Actually, we ended up talking to everyone anyways! No kids allowed so it was a little for relaxed feeling. There was also a hammock that I took advantage of on a daily basis! There is a bin full of beach towels and a basket of sunscreen that the guests can use, great touch.

The breakfast in the morning was perfect...Coffee, orange juice, milk, cereal (some kind of granola that was great), toast, bagels, hard boiled eggs, and the famous cinnamon rolls that we heard all about before we arrived (they were the best I have ever had).

Many people commented on the roosters...they are everywhere in Key West and something that you are going to hear no matter where you stay. We did not hear ANY roosters from in the room, only outside.

Great vacation and I would come back here in an instant!

Pros:
Super comfortable beds
Not too many guests so pool area was never
We never had to move our car!
Great breakfast
NO KIDS!!!
NO TVs - loved this! Had us out of our rooms enjoying the Angelina House and Key West!
Everything was clean!

Awesome staff...always emptying a garbage, an ashtray, watering plants, washing towels...to make everyone experience awesome.

Cons: (really there were no cons, but 2 minor suggestions)
Very low water pressure, hard to wash/rinse my long hair.
Not enough towel bars or hooks on the walls to hang towels, robes, suits, etc. A few hooks behind the bathroom door would have been a perfect addition to the rooms!

Room Tip: The "Debbie" room is the only one that opens to the courtyard...we loved it! But, ALL of...
