Took a quick trip to Key West and with our luck the Honeymoon Sweet was avaialable. It was wonderful.
All the emoployees and the owner were so hospitable and wanted you to be there.
I would recomend this Guest House to any Key West Vacationer.

Room Tip: All the rooms are really cute.

Perfect location to experience Key West. Rooms were small but very clean and adequately stocked with everything you may need. The complimentary breakfast each morning was excellent with a variety of items from pastries to fruit. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The pool was actually a giant hot tub and a bit too warm to be refreshing. They do provide access to the pools at the Southernmost Hotel just across the street. Their pools as well were a little too warm but the service for drinks and snacks by the pool was a nice touch and made a nice afternoon retreat.

Quiet, convenient location within walking distance to almost everything Key West has to offer! Affordable accommodations and great value. Would definitely return!

What a friendly and historic atmosphere!
Stately Victorian elegance and great value.
We found our room to be clean, the desk staff to be outstanding, esp. Beth and Bobbi.
The breakfasts are absolutely amazing, good, fresh fare and wonderful coffee, with great little tables scattered around the great porch and the walkways. Good ocean views ( 1/2 block away) from the porch.
Nice little pool/spa.
The plantings are spectacular! Orchids and Staghorn Ferns poke out form banana Palms, fan Palms, and fruit trees throughout the property

Room Tip: We stayed in 2 different rooms in two different building; Both were excellent. If you can get to br...

Showed up here (after noticing it on our first trip to Key West a few years before) on a Monday night as a walk-in. We were warmly welcomed by Bobbie who quickly accommodated us with a great rate and a great room. The grounds are beautifully planted with a row of hammocks so you can enjoy them to their full extent. Their breakfast is wonderful with fresh fruit, hot coffee served from airpots (not off a burner, yay!), Nutella, fresh pastries, and more. You can enjoy the breakfast while sitting on the gorgeous Victorian porch and getting a peak of the ocean.

The rooms are clean and well appointed (though I would have liked conditioner instead of just "conditioning shampoo"), there's a small pool that's also a hot tub (pool towels provided), I believe each unit has its own outdoor sitting area, and Beth (the owner?) is extremely warm and friendly. I can't wait to stay here again!

First time visit to the Southernmost Point Guest House, but it won't be the last! I had walked by the property on a previous visit, and I was as enchanted by my visit, as I was by the walk-by! The grounds are romantic and well-groomed. The hammocks were so clean, with all the visiting birds, I could not believe there was NO BIRD POOP! I was greeted in the early evening by Bobbi, who welcomed me to their nightly happy hour. The room in back of the house was even more quiet then the front of the house, which is on the quiet end of Duval St. The room was spacious and clean. The nicest beach area on Key West is a half block away, and the Southernmost Marker is a half block away in a different direction. Both Bobbi and Beth could not be kinder, or more helpful to a solo woman traveler who is always open to suggestions! Had an opportunity to speak with Mona and Sandy Santiago, the owners, who were so well-traveled and worldly, and could not be more engaging and interesting! I can't wait to travel back to discuss more politics and current events in the early morning hours! The breakfast was composed of a large selection of foods. Delicious sausage and hashbrowns, eggs, waffles, toasts, bagels, fruits and TERRIFIC coffee! Can't wait to GO BACK TO THIS BEAUTIFUL BED AND BREAKFAST!!

Room Tip: When booking, tell the receptionist what you require in a room, and your needs will be met!

The team at this property consistently met and exceeded even the highest of expectations. From their incredibly warm welcome to the full breakfast each morning to the instant response for any assistance, they embraced the guest. My wife and I have traveled the world and we are in complete agreement that this property under the incredible leadership of the Santiago family is clearly the "best of the best". Their warmth and attention to detail might explain why all of the guests were interactive, friendly and as thrilled with this property as we were. Not only the hotel industry, but the Chamber of Commerce and Wharton Business school should use this property and the team of associates as a benchmark for excellence.

Room Tip: All of the rooms offer superior value and amenities. When making a reservation, tell the associate w...

We stayed 1 night in the main house and then moved to the carriage house for 5 nights. I prefer the main house with the wonderful porch and the charm of the 200 year old beauty. My husband didn't mind the carriage house which added more privacy but was definitely lacking the history. Either way it is a wonderful place to kick back and relax just steps from the beach. The breakfast & wine that are included defintely add to the stay! The entire staff is so friendly & helpful! I thoroughly enjoyed the hammocks & the pool/hot tub was delightful! It is about a 30 minute walk to the action on Duval St. which makes it perfect for getting the right amount of relaxation and exercise. I don't recall seeing another B&B with such a tropical & good sized shaded lawn. It made you feel removed from the craziness of Duval St.

Room Tip: If you want comfortable but affordable stay in the carriage house or one of the queen rooms. If you...

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Welcome to the southernmost guest house in the United States. At our Key West guest house, we offer southernmost hospitality, and since the late 1800s, we’ve gone to great lengths to make stays here an absolute pleasure. In fact, in 1894, when Cuban cigar-maker Eduardo H. Gato realized the handsome, rambling Victorian home he had built was not getting the right sun exposure on his favorite porches, he moved the house across the street! He had the huge structure rolled across the street on logs pulled by mules and he rotated the house to create the most favorable mix of sun and shade. ... more   less
