“Deliciously varied menu”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 18, 2013 via mobile

Wonderful food with a Caribbean flair.
Every dish is delectable whether fresh seafood, pork, chicken, or vegetarian.
The care and presentation of every dish was amazing.
The jerk chicken came drizzled with a scrumptious sauce accompanied by the best yellow rice and black beans I have ever had.
Scott, the owner, told us that he strived to make every dish on the menu special.
We will definitely go back.

“"Whole new level of island restaurant"”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 16, 2013

Not only great food (translate: you will dream about it), great views, good service and reasonable prices, but the passion and creativity of chef/owner Scott comes through in every bite. Who knew you could infuse Keys Island food with Hawaii! Gotta have the tuna poke. Only restaurant I've been to where you can tailor most of their fish entrées with the type and price point of the fish you want to achieve an outstanding meal within your budget. If you like chocolate, ask if they have any of their new Mayan Chocolate Gooey Butter Cookies! One lasted me 2 days and was like nothing I've ever had! I am a local-best restaurant in the Lower Keys!

“Exceptional in every way!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 14, 2013

This place is exceptional! We had the tuna carppacio, conch ceviche, Korean beef tacos and jerk wings. Everything was delicious. It was an explosion of flavor in every bite! We have eaten here three times this week and look forward to coming back next year! From the decor to the staff... This place is definetely worth a try if you are looking for great food, friendly staff, clean adorable decor an great drinks!

“Great find”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 10, 2013

We came along Kaya Island Eats while driving into Key West and decided to stop because the restaurant seemed crowded and had plentiful parking (a rarity in the area).

The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor and you get great views of the water.

The menu has good variety including vegetarian and healthy options. The Jerk Portobellos and all our food was very tasty.

The staff is very accommodating, willing to meet guests wishes, including checking for disliked ingredients.

Would definitely go again if in this area. Kaya Island Eats is worth the drive from Key West.

“Great Find”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 7, 2013 via mobile

Great food, great service, great views- what more can you ask for. Several creative vegetarian entries. Tried jerk portobello mushrooms- delicious. Cuban pork very tasty. Grilled tuna also excellent. The chocolate cake is to die for. Key lime also very good made with merange topping. Plenty of parking. More than worth the drive up from Key West.
